Olneyville NY system known for their Hot Wieners in Providence Rhode island offers a hotdog eating contest in which to get the meal for free you have to beat the record. Those are actually NY System Hot Weiners. They are a regional thing especially in Rhode Island. When I was young, some 50 years ago, you could by them for 2 for 25 cents! Even later you could get 3 for a buck. Steamed rolls, steamed onions, thined out mustard and a meat sauce on top. Then hit them with little celery salt. Delicious. In Rhode Island the drink of choice with hot weiners was and is Coffee Milk, another RI favorite.

There's a challenge close to my home town called the home wreaker that's like a 3.5 lb hot dog there is also like a 5 pound burger challenge. It's located at Hillbilly Hotdogs in Le sage WV. You should try it.

Omg!! Our family is from Rhode Island!!! And my Dad would get the coffee syrup sent to him by our family in RI and he ate coffee ice cream all the time!!! ( only ice cream we 5 kids wouldn't touch)!!!!! MY Dad and Grandma and Grandpa, plus great Grandparents moved to California. I was born in California in 1966, moved away in 1994 to Las Vegas, spent 23yrs there in law enforcement and security, and for the last 6 years, I've been in Idaho!!! Your videos have covered our travels, even to Canada!!! I'm part French Canadian as well!!! My MeMe met my PePe in a French area of Canada when he came from France. My Great Great Grandpa was a Native American who ran to Canada when the reservation round ups were happening in the USA!! I am loving your videos and I know it's very disarming when you walk into a place and start eating!!! You look of medium/ athletic build. It cracks me up!! The hot dog challenge would have 3 minutes knocked off for all the talking etc you were doing!! Do your best on every challenge, it's nice you want to leave attainable goals for others, but make them "Aim High"!!!!! You did!!! If you’re looking for another hot dog challenge, go to Spike’s Junkyard Dogs. They have a location in Warwick, and another one in the Boston area I believe. The dogs are full size with different toppings, I believe 17-18 is the current leader.

We love the New York System. We've been eating them for 50 years. I am in Florida, and we have shipped all the ingredients from Olneyville System restaurant and overnight shipped them to Florida. So, they are awesome. The most I have had in one sitting was 4 with fries and a coke. The Coffee milk is very good and love it, a cola is our choice of drink. Maybe they now need to add an order or two of large fries to this challenge. Feast Mode Go.

Koku Ramen on W.32nd and 5th avenue in Manhattan has amazing food and they are cranking out orders non-stop. Highly recommend their dandan noddles and the pork chashu buns are amazing.

I had a hot dog for lunch, it was half cooked and cold in a minute. The bread was cold too. Add that with more ketchup and mustard than the actual hot dog. I was sad.
