ZzCAKEzZ beer league is an adult league that adults play for fun, but can be taken seriously at times. A bender is someone whos skates bend while he skates. I dont know why there is no checking. And yea I think they are one of the better teams in this beer league.

A lot of times beer leagues such as this are no contact leagues so that way you can reduce the amount of injuries on the ice.

A "Beer league" is a league for people who play hockey just for fun and some less regulated ones have people who drink beer on the bench. A 'bender" is someone who's feet are angled inwards because they don't have the ankle strength to skate properly. A lot of "beer leagues" are no-contact, simply so people don't need to worry about injuries, but some leagues allow it. They are a better team in their league, but they have lost to some other good teams.

I just wanted to add: many beer leagues are no-hitting because most people who play have to wake up in the morning and go to work. Most of us just want to fuck around with friends that we share a hobby with

so my team usually has a moral thing where if we are up like three or four we usually stop trying to score as much and just try to focus on our defense more. Is this uncommon? I feel kinda bad watching you guys run the score up so bad.

As any player on the ice, you cant shoot the puck all the way down the ice after you get scored on. It can be called either as an unsportsmanlike conduct call, or a delay of game call. Youre only supposed to give the puck back to the ref, and youre allowed to pass the puck closer to the center of the ice as the refs usually hang out around center ice to recieve the pass and set up for the next faceoff. Shooting the puck towards the other end of the ice is a penalty.
