Youlgrave / Youlgreave a Derbyshire village set in the Peak National Park which has had nearly 60 different spellings over the last thousand years... known by locals as Pommie because when the first brass band was formed in 1860 the members could only manage to play Pom Pom Pom .. hence the nickname. It has a population of just over 1000 and it's renowned for its annual mid summers festival of welldressing. This old lead mining village has lots to offer, scenery, good food and fantastic walks.
