Young and the Restless Next Week July 1-5: Chelsea & Adam Kiss and Jack’s Miserable  

I loved hearing Faith actually refer to Adam as my Uncle Adam in an affectionate tone. (Friday episode) No disdain in her voice like her Aunt Victoria or Grandma Nickie

I’m Done with Y & R. I am so mad about Chelsea and Adam and now Sharon is having some kind of health crisis too. This is ridiculous the writers are terrible. My opinion of course but upset fan right now and it’s just time for a break for me.

Maybe the kiss scene is a daydream sequence?

Y&R is utterly done for unless the writers listen to the viewers. First, for 20 or so years we have begged them to bring back legacy African-American character Drucilla Winters. Begged. Pleaded. She could shake up the town and actually make Lily, Devon, Mamie and Phyllis interesting again. We have an entire new soap dedicated to African-American stories coming out soon but we can't restore a beloved character like Dru? WTH? Second, treating first-class legacy character Traci Abbott like a second-class idiot. She's a brilliant actress, gorgeous, caring - but it's been 20 years since she had a romantic storyline. I'm certain this new storyline is going to end with her being used by a psycho. Another potential Emmy-winning storyline flushed down the toilet (Giving a real romance and story to a realistically-sized woman!!!) Third, being mired down in rehashing tired, worn, useless business garbage no one cares about. There's no intrigue, it's just egos and idiots. The writers are determined to utterly destroy this soap opera. Love seeing Cole back - but for how long? They brought back beloved Danny - and then made him unlikeable!!! WTF, people? I know soaps are traditionally sponsored by cleaning products, but let's not flush Y&R down the drain with the toilet bowl cleaner!!!

I just hope that kiss with Adam & Chelsea ends at just a kiss ..if not I see Sally getting her heartbroken..& annoying Chloe saying " I told you so " 🙄

I don't trust Diane at all. Seems to me that she's skimming her way to take over the company n take full control of it n she will make Jack to be so blind not see what Diane is doing...

As far as Adam & Chelsea -feel there are two camps of viewers = those who feel that it’s ok under any circumstance that parent spouses should eventually end up together OR there’s the rest of us. Am in the 2nd camp- feel so bad for Sally here, come on they just moved in together! I feel that Boy Scout Adam will feel tortured to tell her about whatever happens on this trip. I see trouble ahead period.

Is Diane finally implementing her plans she has had since her return to GC. One more person to go, Jack, and she is complete control of Jubeau. I spelled that wrong.

Maybe the writers should watch a few episodes of General Hospital so they can see what good storylines are! YnR and BnB so totally suck!! I’ve never not wanted to watch YnR before but I fear it’s coming! If they bust up Sally/Adam again to to shut down the DVR!!

I don't like Lily and hope she's on the up and up with Billy. If she is acting like a conniving witch, I hope it all blows up on her. Ugh Connor's story- this whole storyline is about to send me away from Y&R. Seriously, I do not care about him. Let Adam and Chelsea bang and then move on because apparently, that's the only reason Connor is cuckoo. Can see it- Adam and Chelsea together, then next year, Adam sees Sally and wants her. She tells him no that she's moved on and that begins the Adam/Sally merry go round again. Sharon, Chelsea, Claire and Sheila- are all nuts- really how many people are crazy in Genoa City? Funnily enough, the only male insane person is a child, Connor. Kinda gives insight into how the writer feels about females.

I want to see Sally and Adam together and have a baby again no one wants to see Adam with Chelsea.

Adam is so in love with Sally and did so much to get her back. It's not believable he would cheat, not for any reason.

I like Adam and Sally together that would be terrible for that to happen impact all stop watching altogether

Let’s face it Diane has her own agenda, first she took the position that Kyle wanted , second she battled and put him down every chance she got , and then she fired him, her own son, now she’s wanting to move forward with Ashley’s absence and low and behold she wants to move Allie into Ashley’s position , something is up with her and her actions, her choices, and her ideas to get and be what she has always wanted, perhaps Jabot Cosmetics, she waited ten years after all, and that’s enough to have an agenda, a plan and some revenge of her own? Nit trusting her , but I do feel that all the shift in the corporate family business is definitely going to leave them open to whatever it is that Victor has in plan for them, and by the time that they get a clue it will probably be to late because they will never see it coming until Victor wants them too? I could care less about Adam and Chelsea ‘s storyline, because leave it to JG , as he continues to just ruin every character and storyline on this show?? I for one can absolutely see where he is heading with , Sharon’s storyline because he always keeps her sick, somebody’s victim or having bipolar episodes or some kind of breakdown? The only way JG, and the writing team can salvage the rating and keep the fans are to , number one give Sharon a descent storyline instead of a troublesome , always needing help storyline, she deserves better than what you and this show has given her for way too long now? The second thing that needs to be done, is stop keeping key actresses sidelined and off the grid from this show, Michelle Stafford, is an iconic actress, and you have had her sidelined and taking back burner storylines since the return of Diane Jenkins??? Get your rating back, your fans back and become the writers that always made this show number one, Michelle needs a writer that can do Phyllis justice and write her a great storyline, because most of us don’t tune to watch, Diane, Audra, Chelsea, Mariah, Lily , at this point, Mamie, not ever and Abby either at this point??? JG, wake up and give this July sweeps that not only make a bang but gives us a wow experience that we fans won’t forget instead of storylines that we fast forward through, because that’s what we do? So tire of the lame, boring and lazy writing that you call a storyline??

Please tell me what kind of juicy storyline is sleeping with a new guy in town. Revenge sex? This is somebody you have nothing in common with the first time you really talk to this person is two or three days earlier. That very same person talks about the loss of a child and blows your loss of your child like it's nothing and you are in bed having sex with them. Please write better for you. Y&R should be writing much better stories for Sally. When Chelsea said Adam was her rock and did not want Billy for anything, you know she was going to offer up her behind that the super pat on the head to her.

There was talk in the story I read that Sally goes to the bar and starts drinking. Here comes Billy he starts drinking, and they end up in bed together revenge sex. I just think this is poor writing because the story would be so much better if that does happen. Sally stands there and crying and asks Adam why? Why did you have me move in to hurt me like this? That would be a better story. Could we all be seated on the edge of our seat, waiting for Adam to answer. How about this, Sally is already pregnant and she hasn't been able to tell him! She looks at him and tells him. Im pregnant, and tomorrow, I'm going to pack up and move! It's friday afternoon show, and it ends. we have the whole weekend wondering what Adam is going to do. This revenge sex has been played so much that it is tired. I guess what I'm saying is do something different.

I feel so bad for Billy and am very disappointed in Lily. I loved her character. I wrote off the way she kicked him to the curb, both professionally and personally, as her judgement being clouded by the stress of Nate betrayal and other business stressors. But I don't believe she was fair to him at all. She wanted him more vested in his job but when he got that way via the podcasts that they so badly needed because of Nate's rash announcements, she tore him a new one. And then when he realized he wasn't cut out for the role she expected of him, she refused to let him stay on until she replaced him. Personally, I was happy for both him and Chelsea. It was wonderful to watch Billy become a loving and responsible partner - first with Lily, then with Chelsea. And now EVERYBODY's going to screw him over? Aw hell nah! As far as Chelsea drugging and raping Billy, are we forgetting what she did to Adam???? And how far back do we want to go? Michael and Kevin were rapists at one point. Joshie needs to be hung by his thumbs for screwing up the Adam/Sally partnership, out of the blue, the way he did. Made no damn sense.

So predictable! I saw this coming! Adam was doing so good at first but he better not mess things up with Sally. Victor is an ahole for what he's doing with Kyle. Victor isn't just trying to destroy a company but also a family all because he's jealous of Jack. I hope Lily betrays Billy he deserves that and a lot more. Billy shouldn't be surprised if he ends up alone either.

Connor might be getting a full sibling after what his parents did on Thursday episode. So far none of Adam kids have full siblings. Chirstian will never have a full sibling. Adam himself didn't have any full siblings, just the half siblings and they were all from his dad.
