I don't think that's his dad. This person is probably hearing him for the first time and is blown away. His dad would have mellowed out by now as he got accustomed to his awesome playing
@@twillministries It doesn't matter. He's a SUPPORTIVE MAN. I had lot's of 'em; still do, and I'm in my eighties. What is the young man doing now, five years later?
Our young ones are not all hanging in the streets. Thank God for parents who support, encourage and love their children to be successful. May his gift always make room for him.
Dad's freekin' out: "That's my son!" That is so great! May this young man love the Lord all the days of his life. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
What will happen when a young man grows up and wants to play the blues and rock ‘n’ roll then his father is going to have a fight with him instead of letting him grow up doing what he loves to do
As a successful blues guitar player with 64, yes I said 64 years of experience I see a focused young talent with a calm strong stage presence that predicts an exceptional future if he stays focused!
It is amazing to see a young black child give so much time to his craft. Most children his age are into video games, tv and sneakers. Imagine if all America made their children do something at an early age. Black history is hidden in schools, whitewashed history in schools does not motivate black children, the parents have to teach their own. Hats off to Dad.
So refreshing to feel my heart smile in these days of darkness and doubt! All 40 of my guitars smiled too. Hearing the "Rhythm & Blues" flow from this young man gives me hope for the future of real music. All of my respect and love!
Really? I'm high as heaven right now and can literally see he's rocking out in church. I truly pray protection over him because people like you exist. Not all 420 people are ignorant and lazy. For those of us with PTSD it's the only thing that helps without making you feel worse. Not to mention those with cancer and seizures who if given the right doctors actually help heal their ailments. I swear sometimes sober people act higher than the pot heads. If not dumber.
@@dhare07 You're either a troll or get the biggest wooosh ever, smh. It was better when you kept your mouth shut bc you'll hurt yourself by thinking. 🤐🤕
@@mrbigg151 didn't miss it. I've got dumb ass family that are always putting me down because I smoke. Shit's fkng irritating. We're not all stood m stupid lazy morons incapable of thinning clearly. It's not funny. I got it just didn't fucking like it.
OMG, he got a little lost, but came back like a champ!! That's talent and confidence! 70% of our documented souls professionals, came up in the church!! Thank you, Jesus!
Can I get a like for this young man and only a grate musician can I appreciate this grate work he's doing and he's doing it for the lord imagine what he's going to be like in 20 years grate job young man
@@marklovorn3758 naw but my Dads middle name is. I have been referred to as Stevie Ray Vaughn since high school. He was bad ass in the movie Cross Roads my favorite.
@@stephenvaughn8171 he was a bad ass guitar player for sure. I got to see him in concert twice in Los Angeles. His very first show there at The Hollywood Palace Theater in 1980 and his last at The Greek Theater in 1989. Imagine the music that we never got to hear.
Mother Africa Forever! The Baptist churches of my family always had that musical prodigy kid (s) that played every instrument 🎸🎷 🎻 🎹 🥁 🪘 & conduct the choir, in case anyone was a no-show.
so much talent in the church and it doesn't matter if its a white church or black church, brown church etc.. we need a place of expression to what the LORD has given us and its in HIS house! or the world will come to steal them, abuse them, then throw them away when their done with them... Dont let the world take this boy unless its to further the Gospel of JESUS without "compromise"
Doug H. in VA Except that this dude explained it as a gift from the lord, which you came and contradicted with your statement. You can't say, we can't explain x, but here's the explanation for x. That's hypocritical.
I really love his style, a little more bluesy than rockabilly. This is my absolutel fav genre. I wish it didn't cut out so soon (I was enjoying it A LOT). Most kids learning to play do rock/metal.
Maybe their kids don't have any talent and the wish he was theirs or they wish their kids weren't so unaccomplished. It is sad when an adult puts a child down regardless of their level of talent, when they are great you give them praise and encouragement, when they are horrible you still give them praise and encouragement. That just goes shows the immaturity of some so called adults. To all so the called grown ups; don't be grown up when it is convenient, for you and childish whenever you want to be, because giving this child a thumbs down is very childish. This little boy is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!
How can you be jealous of someone who can give you so much joy. Not everyone can be a musician unfortunately. Imagine if we all could. Be a much better world for sure
How could anyone give a thumbs down to a kid who plays guitar well, makes all the chord changes and plays lead respectably. And the kid is in church, how many of you with your thumbs down can get your kids into church, oh i know the answer, Zero. Be happy for others instead of jealous.
No, no, no. Don't blame the Holy Ghost on this. The Holy Ghost will guide you into all truth (John 16:13)...and there is no truth in the use of mechanical instruments of music in the New Testament church.
@@bigblueplanet1968 do you find fault in what I said? If so, provide scripture where the New Testament church had the authority or used mechanical instruments of music...and I gladly apologize for what I said.
@@bigblueplanet1968 haha. Does that not tell you anything? You answered my question with a question (which isn't polite...but I know why you did). Yes, I can provide scripture in the New Testament to prove the command is only to sing. Which means the authority is only to sing. Are you humble enough to accept, believe, and obey the Scriptures?
Raised Catholic, our church services are very beautiful and ceremonial. The first time I ever attended a Black Baptist church service, I was just carried away by all the joy and especially the music. But that was because of the choir. Best church service ever to me. As a firm believer that, "The Blues won't get you to heaven, but it will drop you at the front door." Seeing this child would have blown me away for sure. Awesome.
