One of the things that I absolutely love about the tiny house movement, is how it can help empower young people to get out of the rent trap and onto the housing ladder when they otherwise wouldn't be able to! I hope you all enjoy meeting this couple and touring their wonderful tiny house. With love, Bryce & Rasa
👍Rasa and Bryce...given the incredible amount of work involved in producing a "Living Big in a Tiny House " storey ..still can't believe you do this all again ...weekly😃
Thanks for this Bryce was really informative and I love the house. I was wondering though how easy it is securing a mortgage for a tiny house? I feel like here in Australia it wouldnt be easy to do the last time I looked into it you could only get a personal loan (like you were purchasing a caravan or RV and the interest rates on a PL are phenomenally high) you had to have land to access a mortgage. It might be an idea for a future video looking at funding options for going tiny.
Honestly, there is so much tiny house content these days, but none match this channel...the editing is on point...the way you combine the conversations while showing shots of the tiny house seem so simple, yet I don't see that elsewhere and it gives a very good impression of the people and the whole tiny house without being boring or too long, keep it up mate!
I haven’t missed a single episode and I live in a ridiculously large home. Like you said, this channel is just lovely, and I look forward to it each week. We had a home business in the house for twenty years and home schooled the fives kids over the past 25 years, so we used every inch of the house. In a couple of years we will have a very large empty nest, so who knows what comes after that? I’ve filed away all my favorite house designs with bedrooms downstairs, so I’m ready if we decide to go tiny!
I've had this idea and wanted to see someone do it for so long!!! I think a collapsible backrest (that could fold to be flush with the floor) would make it perfect
Such a gentle, soft spoken couple. I love to see how they've carved out their own space in life with this lovely tiny home and their realistic goals and expectations of the future! And Bryce, you are always a gracious documentarian. I adore the way you see the merits of each home that you feature. I love the positivity of this couple, their home, and all of your videos.
Eversince I've laid my eyes on tiny homes, I've never wanted anything otherwise. It's functionality and the simplicity of living without compromising beauty (both aesthetic and the life you create while living in it) still brings me in awe. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for your beautiful content week on week.
Tough to repeatedly use a piece of music that doesn’t become annoying after a while. No such worries here. Edit: Just noticed that you composed your own music. Nicely done! 👏
the last 2 weeks, I spent more than 8h watching this channel - Am I getting addicted, I guess yes :) I love the concept, how the host is always respectful, asking questions that will enhance the creativity and wonderful work they have done. he always makes people feel at ease even when people are shy. Great editing and such an inspirational channel!
I like the crisp, modern and light-filled design. They paid good attention to details, such as keeping the loft walkway translucent and their use of mirrors to create the feeling of more space.
This is one of my favorite designs! They thought of everything! I like how spacious the bathroom and kitchen are, love that they have a washing machine, love the actual stairs vs ladder, and how they have 2 good-sized lofts. The cutout in the floor that fits below is ingenious. What a cute couple, also. :)
This is actually going to be the design I'll go for when I build my own tiny house. I don't think I'll be making an exact copy, but this sort of design with a separate office space is absolutely what I'm going for.
True. I was seeing that as well. I love Shay's design with the bathroom on the other end of the tiny home with the "concealment" idea of litter box and toilet. Love the lay out.
Very impressive. When I was her age, I was still trying to figure out how to use Boston’s public transportation to commute to my first job after college! 🙄🤷🏼
@@suzannegreene5461 That's impressive too, at least you got a job at 21. I'm 21 right now, recently graduated, currently unemployed... That is honestly GOALS.
This has to be one of the most spacious tiny homes I’ve ever seen. It may have a small footprint but the illusion of openness and space was incredible! Well done.💚
The layout reminds me of the one of the mother and daughter who lived in New Zealand. The only difference was she had a larger porch with beams and had small gardens on the second story.
Gaby Palacios I agree. Has quite a few similarities to Shays last build for herself with the layout and mirrors up top in the kitchen. Definitely my 2 favourite Tiny homes. Absolutely spot on.
Such a clever use of space. Don’t remember a tiny house that felt this big. A lot of useful innovations such as the glass above the kitchen and drop down space for feet in the upstairs office
totally agree - also it feels that if they had dropped the downstairs ceiling by 6-8" (which it seem like there was room to do), then you could have stood upright in the bedroom loft and perhaps the office too!
Absolutely, their home is amazingly bright and spacious with the extra windows. The drop down footwell was clever. What a great bathroom. And those beautiful beech worktops.
Hello! I’m new to the Tiny House Community! I just wanted to say that I love these videos and I love how positive everyone in this unique community is! I hope that everyone has an awesome day!
Bryce, you are so lovely. This couple are obviously shy and introverted yet you made such an effort to make them feel at ease and ask them the right questions so they could Talk a bit! It’s not easy! 💛 also the cat is in every shot! The real star!!!
Love the big footwell for the desk area upstairs. Its impact is barely noticeable in the bathroom. Also like the extra benchspace looking out to the deck. That kitchen is so much nicer (& bigger) than mine in my 4 bedroom home!! Also love the ability to stand in the loft. Makes so much sense. Great that you were able to get a mortgage for it. I believe people have difficulties getting them here in Australia and end up having to get personal loans instead, which of course, come with higher interest rates, I guess because they consider them more of a caravan?? We have a long way to go.
Yeah, I've just started to hear of people being able to get tiny house mortgages in New Zealand. As the movement becomes more popular globally, hopefully more financing options will become available for people. I know it can still be a big issue for people!
One of my favorite tiny's to date. This is a stunning home. its got all the necessities of a mainstream home inside a tiny. The deck outside where you can sit out and eat is fabulous. Those windows that roll out are gorgeous and ultra modern. Full size appliances. I love the real couch inside instead of just a bench. (a sectional that folds out into a bed for a guest makes it even better) . Everything is spaced out nicely so you don't feel too cramped inside. Adequate storage space. I could totally live in this one. Perfect for a single or a couple. It has everything you need.
Then you must love the home of the builder even more. I watch Bryce since he started his channel and remember her first tiny and loved it. Her second was even better. Much respect for her! and Bryce!
They're so young. Yet they have own a lovely and beautiful tiny house. Fantastic!. And....and they've fresh food from their tiny garden. They also working. Such a responsible couple. Good for them. Thank you dear Bryce & Rasa for the video.
Indeed! The production of these videos, in addition to Bryce's presentation skills, style and wonderful spiritual energy make this program the very best! Thank you Bryce!
@@abbyfoppe2582 It's not nice to accuse this lovely couple of copying someone else's design, they haven't copied her at all - they legally purchased this tiny home from Shaye who featured in the other video. Shaye has her own business selling tiny homes. She has several designs and anyone can purchase one and have it built for them.
WOW Laura, well done to you guys. It's gorgeous! Best design for all the ones I've seen. Love the spinning tray in the cupboard and the cut out in the floor upstairs. I'm going to go for this design myself if I can secure the $$. All the best to you both!
When you’ve watched soooo many videos of Bryce or just tiny house videos in general that you can automatically tell who the builder of this home is! Your video with Shay was one of my all time favourite designs and it’s so nice to see another version of the same build!
I thought the same - in fact, I thought they must have bought this home from her! But then I saw the dropped leg space in the office and thought it was their own build. In fairness, Shay's home is an excellent design and well worth copying.
I LOVE how they used the space ... The stairs on the side....the walkway .. being able to stand in a part of the bedroom ....leg room in the office ...the cat closet .....The thought process was amazing ... Thank you for sharing...
Their builder is definitely that gorgeous lady who is also a professional diver with a daughter... The layout is almost identical and honestly probably the two best tiny homes I've seen
You totally said it right there, empowering young people to own their own home...they have totally thought it out, it's very stylish and suits their lifestyle and I love how they take trips to the hardware store now...this is great...!
So peaceful, fresh, quiet. I love the young couple and their kitty. All the custom features designed for every purpose. One lucky feline 😽. At 65, I've been in rent trap for a long time. My dream is to go tiny home❤️
That walkway was the coolest part. Being able to stand and not crawl changes everything. Well thought, practical design. Kudos to the couple for coming up with such a great design!
when i think i have seen everything, these folks go and drop down the floor onto the bathroom, with no loss whatsoever, and make a functioning desk sitting area on the loft. WOW! Brilliant
As one comment reads..a softspoken couple..and sooo tidy! So young and yet very wise for their age! Looove the catbox and legsdown ideas! Keep it up kiddos..you're on the right track! Thank you Bryce..I'm sure you boosted their confidence aswell.
The two cats were the real owners of this tiny house as they owned their humans. Look, they even hv own closets for their stuff. Both black cats were so beautiful. Bryce shld hv interviewed them too. Haha.
This tinny house is well thought out and homey. Love the couple they are adorable, so softly spoken and quite humble in their approach to living together in a space they have created. beautiful.
I love the idea of having the walkway up there, whenever i think about having my own tiny house in the future and start imagining how it's design would be, i always think about a walkway connecting the two lofts🙈🤩 (and by the way i finished all my exams and got accepted at the college of engineering, i'll start my civil engineering journey in few weeks, so excited for it!!)
I'd vent out the air from the back of the litter cabinet and pull in the fresh air from the kitchen to get rid of the smell. An idea stolen from another kitty loving tiny owner. But for all I know they did do that lol
I have watched hours upon hours, if not full days upon full days of alternative living. Hands down, this is likely the most well thought out and designed tiny home I have come across!!! The owners and design team should be very proud of themselves.
Wow, this couple has a stunning home! I love how clean yet warm and inviting their home is. It is so spacious feeling! I love their kitchen, it is plenty of room to bake and cook in there. Probably just as big as my kitchen is just about it. Same with the bathroom, but what really blew me away was their upstairs. I love how spacious their bedroom is. I love that they can stand up in it and the hallway. Even though it is slightly tight for the guy. They have loads of storage in this home as well, which is so impressive. I love everything about this couple and their home, it is certainly one I could definitely live in myself. Thanks Bryce and Rasa for all you do!
I really like this tiny house. It's prefect!! It doesn't look "tiny" at all. Love all the windows, the kitchen is fabulous, the walkway to the loft area is a brilliant idea, and I am really impressed with the "office" where you can dangle your legs and not get cramped working.
Bryce (also my Son's name), I appreciate all that you do so much! Great videos showing all the details of these tiny houses helps tremendously when one is trying to see what will work for them. This is another example of a well designed tiny! Thank you!!
This tiny home is clever & obviously well thought out. Their cupboard and drawers don't look cluttered because of the amount of storage this TH has. I love it!
I've seen so many of these videos and each time I'm surprised by what people come up with but damn these two really had me surprised with all the clever use of space and dropping the floor down where you're able - something I definitely never considered... yet :D So thank you!
What a beautifully designed home with high quality materials in the details. This young couple is off to a very good start and their vision for the future is great - I wish them all the luck!
Bryce and Raza are great partners, I love how Bryce feature people’s tiny house , its not dragging but he could cover important details! And he is simply genuine with his comments
I love how Bryce leads the tours by asking to see the next space or to be told about a feature, and all the openings he leaves for homeowners to share about their choices rather than barging through the space
This layout is so similar to the one with the lady and young girl. It was her 2nd tiny house. Hers was Very cool, must check it out. I love this layout!
My “saved” list of TH videos is becoming wayyyy too long! Anyone know a super easy method of splicing parts of many videos together for this untechy 60 year old? I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thx in advance.
@suzanne: I don't know how to connect them all but I have a little idea? There's an app called "keep". It lets you do just what the name of is, keep things you like for future reference. I had the app way long before I started watching these videos or else I would have tried something similar to this: Once you have the so and have decided maybe you'd like to keep all your tiny house inspiration together, use their "labels". They're like file folders. You could even save the link to the houses you like from these that Bryce and Rassa put together all on the same keep page. Get rid of the check boxes and you'll be able to put a lot more info onto your keep page(s). I hope that helps s little? Maybe? 😋🥴🌶️🍅🌶️🍅🌶️🍅🥴😋
I really like the office idea and how well they executed the sitting table in the loft. This is one of my absolute favourites so far. Could really imagine living in that house right away
