THIS, - is how you do a perfect fight choreography AND cinematography. Notice how many things are done in one take, while cuts are only where it makes sense. Notice how camera angles compliment the action, as opposed to confusing it. (and it never shakes!) The difference between a masterpiece work like this, and all the modern bullshit - is like the difference between Fred Astaire and them dime-a-dozen MTV bimbos.

I would say, if you want to see fresh talent in martial arts cinema I would check the more recent historical dramas as they normally have good martial arts in them.

I don't know them in person. They never really fight like for real so why even prove who would fight. I don't try to prove something unless them actual fight for real. Anyways, JC file is still is better. More natural, All the move is real, because the stunt is real, and practical work in real life (aside from the comedy one). All the hencmen know how to fight and attack at once and the cheography is better.

80s & 90s actors and movies will always remain the best I guess! Donnie yen was one of the greatest back then together with Jet Li , Jackie Chan Hwang Jang Lee , Lau Kar leung, yuen biao, Fatty Sammo in Pedicab Driver. Everyone great in their own performance! Miss so much those years when there were no damn iPhones, only real games between youngsters!

@@assabirun679 Chow Yun-Fat isn't a martial arts expert. He knows the movements required for certain martial arts films but as an overall actor, he's better than all the others mentioned before. His style is completely different. But with guns he's the best by far. You can't talk in such a disrespectful way about one of the greatest Asian actors ever. Besides as a human being, he's the nicest and humblest superstar. If you don't like him, that's fine, but show some respect to him and his followers.

Hong kong back in the 80s 90s 2000s it had the same hype and coolness as Los Angeles on its prime decades. It was also a very good city to live in Now hong kong just like los angeles isnt what it used to be. Hong kong basicaly became a toxicaly overcrowded very expensive city.
