I can tell I’m going to love this series. I have a chemistry degree and was 3 classes away from a separate biology degree. So all that to say that I took A LOT of science. As a believer I always felt like everything I was learning in these courses just pointed even more toward a creator. In my opinion, science is just mans best attempt at explaining Gods creation and how his systems work. My science degree pushed me closer to God rather than away from him.

I 100% agree, sounds like something I would say😂. The more science I took in college, the more in awe I was of Jesus and his creation! Once you become a Dr you should realized how little we actually understand 👍🏼😇🤣

I would like to hear Allen's dad teach us how science proves that God created the earth and the entire universe! I have never doubted, but to hear it proved would be awesome. I know this series on Genesis was done a few years back, but I am just starting to hear Pastor Allen teach this. It's going to be so extremely exciting and interesting. It's been many, many years since I was in a science class!!😊

I'm a British archaeologist and spent many years writing, editing, proof reading reports. can you imagine the arguments between myself, (the born again nutter) and the atheistic, Marxist, evolutionists etc etc and myself. I got away with changing (correcting) reports for ages until the boss found me out!!! these reports would be submitted at planning meetings etc... and sent off to English Heritage, the British library, museums etc. I'm not sure how the American system works but the city I lived and worked in was historically protected, one of only 5 in England covered by a special law. Well I got us into tons of trouble!!! But I can't write reports saying the people who originally lived here 220,000 odd years ago did this that and the other and made this kind of pottery and cbm which is nonsense. the specialists (eg medieval pottery, animal bone, small finds etc) who had PhDs etc would outdo me. (try) But I had final say. Until I got sussed as I said! we would have hours long arguments over where to insert a full stop, or should it be a colon!! BUT THEY WERE WRONG. STILL ARE. however I kept my job. nor did I back down. God is good. and correct. hallelujah 🙌

You're right about preachers not covering Genesis deeply. I just think you may not realize that every Christian gets real familiar with the debate as soon as they go off to college, and it's one of those issues that chips at the foundation of the word of God.
Hi. Doesn’t it say in the Bible, I forget the passage, but God stopped the sun. Why would he stop the sun if the earth is moving? It’s because the earth is not moving, the sun moon and stars are. My 2 cents

I looked up the word "CIRCLE" in the Hebrew dictionary,I cannot see it being connected to the word SPHERE. It says VAULT...a sphere and a vault are not the same. Can you please explain how you can say that the Bible does not contradict science? I have researched 240 scriptures where it repeatedly tells us that the earth is built on pillars and it cannot be moved! Spinning at 1000 miles per hour is moving ,very fast !
@@michellehall3375 Strongs H2329 Khoog (chuwg) - circle from H2328 A primitive root (compare to H2287) to describe a circle. You can verify that in Strongs Exhaustive Concordance. I always verify things no matter whose preaching. It's good to do that, because we are all human. Take care.

Pastor, in undergraduate school, it probably uses Math 4's finding the value of 1. I do not quite remember the calculation anymore since had been unapplied for decades. I came across your videos only middle of last week. Thanks really to God & to you; very enlightening. You are one of His anointed in preaching the Word.

@18:43 just for a little correction there. Science states the earth as 4.5bn years. It's the "known universe" that is stated as 13.5 - 16bn years by science. The major conflict on this time claims is that science conventionally perceives time differently from theological interpretations of our natural history and we attempt to reconcile the two concepts without bias.
I believe the earth is round but flat like plate, when they fly to destinations around the world they take flight paths as if the earth is flat and not in a ball shape. When flying and I used to fly a lot you can't see the curvature of the earth at 30,000 feet you should though. Also flights are flat you can measure that while flying with a liquid level. This is what they say. The Earth curves about 8 inches per mile. As a result, on a flat surface with your eyes 5 feet or so off the ground, the farthest edge that you can see is about 3 miles away. Also when they setup train tracks or bridges they never take in account the curvature of the earth.
* So if the earth is like a plate, do ships fall off the edge when they try and sail around the world? Have you ever encountered anyone that came to the edge of this plate? What's on the other side of this plate, and how does one get there? I guess you don't believe in the photos that capture earth from outer space that clearly show the curvature of the earth from numerous positions? How about other planets that photos ( taken from different angles )show are spherical. Why would you worry about the curvature of the earth when laying train tracks? Those tracks follow the contours of the ground. If a bridge was long enough certain points along the way would have to be adjusted for the curvature of the earth. Your liguid level only shows that its content is level at the spot of the level. The level of water at the extreme distance, out in the great blue yonder, doesn't mean it is the same as the level sitting next to you. Only when you arrive at that extreme distance will those two levels be the same. Gravitational pull and/or centrifugal force plus the earth's magnetic forcefield holds everything in position. Even the water, so that it can adhere to the curvature of the earth.

The definition you gave of khoog is incorrect. According to Strong's Concordance it is to draw around, make a circle. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance also adds compass. No mention of spherical. 16:38

I can't find anywhere in the Bible that tells us how long Adam & Eve lived in the garden before the fall. They could've lived in communion with God for eons. The Bible says God told Eve her childbirth pain would "increase". Increase normally means there was something before that! So they could've done what God told them to do, "Go forthl & multiply" before the fall, giving birth & creating those "people East of Eden" that Cain was so worried about! The Bible says Eve gave birth to Cain, Able, Seth & "other sons & daughters" after the fall, but gives us little info on their lives before the fall. They had access to the Tree of Life. They named & cared for the animals & walked with God in the evenings. I find it hard to believe they only did this for one 24 hour period. Eve may not have been surprised by the talking "serpent", whatever his true form was, because she'd been around him for a long time. The Bible tells us God made everything good & we & "the serpent" messed it up. The rest is about how God is going to restore the whole thing back to what it was originally created to be! And an instruction book for us! What came before the fall isn't what the Bible is about. We can only imagine. And we shouldn't "read between the lines", adding stuff that isn't there & creating strife between the Body of Christ! Adam & Eve could have been in the Garden for 13 billion years! 13 billion or 1 week doesn't matter to us. God did it in 6 days & all went well for possibly 13 billion years. Then the fall. The Bible is for those who are born after that time. Time meant nothing to us before the fall. And it will again mean nothing to us after The Millinium! And that's where I want to be! 🤗💞
Go back and read that Job again and you'll see it says God spread out the stars like a curtain which would explain light years if the stars all started from near earth and the stars were pushed out the light would've always been seen.
Sir pastor, if the sun and moon were created on the fourth day...what was the earth revolving around to cause day and night?? I'm not trying to make it a flat earth bible, but there are many more passages supporting that earth seems to be flat compared to just one you mentioned here saying it's round. But it think it said circle and not round....
@@allennolan thank you sir, but one last think if you can help me with the passage from Job 38:14, because it very much seems to portray it as flat and I've seen what the flat earth is supposed to look Iike and they two seems to resemble a lot. There are also many others like the firmament and dome, water above the firmament, and also somewhere in the bible it is depicted to be as hard as a molten looking glass. The flood gate of heaven and the fountains of the deep during the flood described in Genesis are also something flatearthers had depicted on their flat earth model and seems to be have some truths in it. I'm not a flat farther but I love to look into things and keep and open mind, because in both models I agree God can play the central figure.
I have noticed that Pastor Allen has made an error about science's dating of the earth. He states that its 16 billion years old according to science when science actually states that its 4 1/2 billion years old. I don't know how he made that error.
Red shift satellites showed scientist's that the earth is where the red shift started. The sad thing is they don't believe their own data and have sent other satellites up but each one gives the same data. The earth is the center of this universe because made it that way!
Your time/space explanation then has nothing to do with the appearance of age on earth. Thus the appearance of age is based on the devastation of the flood and not a “ancient” earth?
I have a couple questions: Where are getting that the earth is 16 billion years old? It’s roughly 4.5 billion years old according to science. The entire universe itself is only ~14 billion years old. Your math kind of falls apart there. Also, can you explain where you come up with an expansion rate of 1,000,000^2? There isn’t any literature referencing this. And one more, the space and time are expanding at different rates, not constant. Trying to understand why you assume that.
The earth was created 4.5 billion years ago but the "big bang" occurred between 13.8 and 16 billion. I think that he referenced 16 billion as simply an approximate. I cant answer the other two though! God bless you and keep you. I hope you're doing well in these days!

So basically the theory of time dilation, which i do believe. I believe the universe is 6k, but the appearance of light taking billions of years to reach us here on Earth is possible via time dilation. What proves this super-nova. If it takes billions of years for stars to die and go nova, then we'd be seeing supernova literall everywhere in space.
He asked how old the earth is, if the genealogy gives us 4000 years from Adam to Christ? Then they reply 6000 years. (4000 from Adam to Christ + 2000 from Christ to present time) math is good. However my question is if man was created on the 6th day isn’t the earth much older then 6000 years because God created the heavens and earth on the first day? Gen 1:1
1 Corinthians 2:7: "We proclaim the mysterious plan conceived by God in His wisdom, a plan which has hitherto been concealed, but which God established before time began in order to lead us back to glory. This plan was known to none of the rulers of this world, (Satan/Lucifer) for otherwise, they would not have crucified the lord of glory." Here Paul tells us that the need for redemption existed "before time began". Time being a physical concept only came into being at the time of the physical creation - but at some prior point we humans had committed some heinous offence against God that required Him to conceive a very involved & complicated Plan involving the creation of a physical world & universe to redeem us. Humans need to grasp the reality that we do not suddenly appear on earth out of nowhere. We have existed since were were created in God's Spiritual World and were involved in the disobedience and rebellion against Christ, The King of Heaven, and were amongst the 1/3 of Heaven's population who were expelled and imprisoned in Paradise. Humans are so obsessed with how they can get to Heaven when they die but never stop to consider where they were before birth.
The hebrew word Chug (khoog) does not mean spherical. From the Strongs Concordance the word means (circle, circuit, or compass) the bible actually paints the image of a flat earth
The Bible does not teach that we live on a sphere spinning plummeting through space! It does teach that God drew a circle on the deep meaning he drew a circle on the ocean. a plate can be considered round yet it has a flat surface the Bible teaches that the earth is a motionless flat plane. you need to study a little more, it is obvious when you study the firmament that we Live in an enclosed system just like the Hebrews taught!

Sorry, but your explanation of time and space and distance, as it would be required to explain the (theory) of the locus of the big bang (the original release of energy), particularly in relation to looking backward and forward in time, is nonsense. As described by the cone example, the location of the observer does not work to describe what is thought to describe. I had a similar problem when someone was talking about the James Webb's telescope looking back into the past at the origin of the universe. Both use a static rather than dynamic operation. Too much to say. By the way, I am a philosopher and not a physicist but I can fairly well examine the way such an explanatory engine would need to work within such a model for it to make sense. Either way, I very much enjoy listening to your Bible lessons.
