haha I know that feeling, I have some songs that I remember hearing when I was 4-5 and hum them or whistle them randomly and it feels super strange when you finally find it.
Blair- Queen of schemes. Serena- Queen of style. Chuck- King of bad boys. Nate- King of good boys. Dan- King of writers. Jenny- Queen of being hated by fans.
If I told you things I did before, told you how I used to be Would you go along with someone like me? If you knew my story word for word, had all of my history Would you go along with someone like me? Heard it before and had my share, it didn't lead nowhere I would go along with someone like you It doesn't matter what you did, who you were hanging with We could stick around and see this night through And we don't care about the young folks Talking 'bout the young style And we don't care about the old folks Talking 'bout the old style too And we don't care about our own folks Talking 'bout our own stuff All we care about is talking Talking only me and you Usually when things has gone this far, people tend to disappear No one will surprise me unless you do I can tell there's something going on, hours seems to disappear Everyone is leaving, I'm still with you It doesn't matter what we do, where we are going to We can stick around and see this night through And we don't care about the young folks Talking 'bout the young style And we don't care about the old folks Talking 'bout the old style too And we don't care about our own folks Talking 'bout our own stuff All we care about is talking Talking only me and you And we don't care about the young folks Talking 'bout the young style And we don't care about the old folks Talking 'bout the old style too And we don't care about our own folks Talking 'bout our own stuff All we care about is talking Talking only me and you Talking only me and you Talking only me and you Talking only me and you
You see the image where is says Writer’s Block? That’s the album cover. The album is great beginning to end. One hit wonder applies to artist that have one good song and the other suck. Generally applies to prepackaged artist like Mr. Vega. PBJ are a good band that had a mega hit, but they have plenty of other good songs.
There is a very weird atmosphere to this record that I can't totally discern. It feels like desolated or somehow rarely recorded. Like it was meant to be kinda spooky in spite of its poppish production and effective hooks.
This song makes me want to go on adventures with a boy and slowly fall in love with a boy who feels like he’s not good enough but he doesn’t realize he’s is more than enough until I show him that he is. Like if we were in a movie
I remember my brother showing me this song in 2006-7 and loving it, for years i whistled the tune throughtout my life and forgot the name of this song as life went on, then just rediscovered it yesterday on a night out, memories of my childhood and my brother who had past years ago flooded my mind. It was bittersweet and i loved it.
This song reminds me of when I was in HS. Graduating senior year and having a crush and a girl named Farah. I never had the courage to tell her how I felt. Life was shifting and shit was happening. I am 29 years and this song just brings that memory back, of me just wanting to say something but never could find the words. Life moves on and life is good. Hope who ever reads this you have a fulfilling life.
I listened to this my first day of classes as a sophomore at a huge university and I felt like it fit perfectly. I was weaving my way through people walking, riding bikes, etc. So many people going on with their own little lives. I love it and it makes me feel so careless and enjoying life really living in the moment.
Finally found the name of this song all I kept remembering was the whistle part. It kept playing in my head when I just started to forget about it. This has been going on for a solid few years. Also it brings a soothing feeling from my child hood.
I remember when I was super little listening to this.... Around a campfire With my entire family Grand parents, my parents, all of their friends, etc. Just having a good time
Imagine this Its a pretty pink sunset, you're at a camp you have been going to ever since you were 8, you're by a forest with a lake and your closest friends are around you, this song comes on and you all just enjoy the moment together and start dancing and vibing together, not a care in the world🥺
I imagine I am a late teenager, going through the snow in semi urban, Canada, the sun is mid morning with some friends in the snow, the air is crisp, and we are enjoying life - just walking and talking togther, with some suggestions of budding love between some of us. Few cares.
the young folks stayed young & I got older 😉 remember hearing this jam back in 06 when I was 15, now I'm 30 the years start coming & they don't stop ✌🏼📻💯🔥
man, 2012-2016 era of music was really just so beautiful. made up most of my early adolesance, middle school and early highschool. So many good memories of doing dumb shit with my old friends.
when i was 8, my neighbor lent to my mom a cd with several songs from that time & that song was the last one on the list. it was the first time i heard an indie song... since that day, everything in my life changed.
escutava quando criança, meu pai que escutava na verdade. eu era apaixonado mas não sabia o nome, passei a vida toda cantando essa música e procurando e hoje eu achei :)
This reminds me of when I was little. My dad has this song on a cd mix he made and they played it once they thought my brother and I were too tired to care during road trips. It reminds me of being young and at peace.
This song reminds me of my childhood. I can still feel the cool evening breeze while im listening to this song. I would do anything to go back in time to these days. Simple times when we had nothing to worry about.
If I told you things I did before Told you how I used to be Would you go along with someone like me? If you knew my story word for word Had all of my history Would you go along with someone like me? this song has a special place in my heart now. I met my senior best friend when it was the start of first semester sophomore year and we ended up getting our first class together when 2nd semester started. Our teacher would play music in the background when we start our work and this is the song i remember would play during class and was the first time i heard it. I genuinely enjoyed the class as well and this song will bring so much memories to me of my friend together and the class. And now I will be a junior in high school.
I heard the instrumental of this song from gas cylinder delivery trucks out in the distance when i visited my aunt who lived in a mountany place. That shit felt magical... distant whistling while looking down the place to the colorful houses and the ocean filling the horizon with big boats slow as clouds.
Who knows this song from the epic movie 21 - Blackjack? Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) was a fantastic character! 🖐❤ Who didn't, watch the movie and thank me later 😏
This song reminds me of the summer of 2014-2015 where me and my brother would go to my grandmothers house because my parents were working and my half brother and sister were always there and sometimes my cousin. My dad would bring the Wii so we can play and all I can say is me and my siblings had an awesome time together. I miss those days. This song really connects with nostalgia because of the best the lyrics and everything else. No other song can really do that ya know. :)
I remember when Bandslam was played years ago on Nick at night and i was surprised because i recognized the 3 main leads from other movies but have never seen the movie before
