Seems like 2 large herniations at L3-L4 and L4-L5. Does this mean a significant reduction in disc height after endoscopic discectomy surgery? Will a fusion be eventually needed at some point? Can the patient eventually lift weights at the gym and jog / run? Or are these restricted in her lifetime?

Sir I am from Indore. My father needs spine surgery for bulge disc. Getting CT scan done tomorrow. After looking at MRI Doctor says there may be chance of bone also pushing the nerves, and if that is the case then open surgery needed. Do you do endoscopic surgery for patients whose bone is pushing the nerves? Or you also do open surgery for such cases?
