As a non tekken player isn’t it kinda weird that kazuya and heihachi are the two hardest characters to play (to my understanding) like they’re the main characters so you’d assume that they’d make them beginner friendly like from a game design POV it makes sense

Started playing Tekken first time around Nov of 2022, Heihachi was one of the first characters I grasped, and helped me learn what it means to Tekken, got to vindicator in les than a month with him cause he was so fun. I am on a continuous journey to learn others for the sake of knowledge (i think bear is my best) but I always hold Heihachi in my heart as the most badass mf and fun main. I ALWAYS come back to this video from time to time to remember what it means to be a heihachi. It was at 5:45 that I said "I want to do that, I want to be that mf with his back against the wall looking at an insane player. all hope lost and completely flip the script with insane pressure." insane game of tekken.

The best part about him is that he silently troll the audience by winning the games and the audience scream their lungs out but in end they still end up being losers 🤣
Arslan has a very different playstyle. Once you "know" it, he becomes somewhat human. Like, people like Joka, Anakin, Knee etc. or people who've practiced a lot with Arslan, can somewhat have an even chance against him. That said, I still think he's the best. It's a testament to get even a round against him, MUCH LESS A MATCH, especially when he's in tournament mode.

On a basic level he trades some safety and movement for power his combos are slightly higher in execution and your playing a slightly more "honest" game of taking your turn than the other mishima's and mishimas being notoriously tricky character's to master already making heihachi the toughest Mishima to play simultaneously puts him easily in the running for toughest character to play even though you get like jdcr or knee or apparently Jr on him and they can run rampant on some of the best in the world
