Without Lily writing the songs; Tom failed when he thought he could replace her. You reap what you sow, & choices have consequences; & Tom made a bad one. He felt he could do it without her, when he should have been upfront with Rick about his girlfriend writing the lyrics & he played the music; they may have been signed up as a duet. He gave her no credit & made a big mistake. Had he really loved her he wouldn’t be alone with no job now & he lost Lily in the process! Sad, but hopefully he learned that by himself, he couldn’t make it!

He started as a busker when spotted by Rick, the music manager. Vocals aside, he could have tried to share the fame and fortune with GF, Lily, Tom was in his element!!! It was the gig itself that was difficult, it was more of a solo act than a duet. Soon, Tom will be back at square 1, broken up and homeless. His ego and greed were taking him away from what mattered most, being with Lily!!! He will regret it but will be too late by then!!!! Ouch!!!

I had something similar happen to me but not in music, but rather in software sales and real estate I sold business software and real estate for a living. We used to get so excited when a client agreed to the deal and asked for the contract. We used to write it off as a sale and bragged about what we would buy for ourselves. Then we just assumed the client would pay as he already asked for the contract and it was already sent out for signature. Many times at this point the client would go silent without telling us why. No signature. No payment. Lots of missed calls and voice mails from us to them. Then they would block us and we would look like idiots as we already bragged about "getting the sale." This taught me to remain humble and not get too excited when someone agrees to the deal. It is only ever a deal *after* the money clears in your bank account. Anything before that is BS

Outcome: just because you are famous doesn’t mean you should turn your back on the people who were there for you in the beginning Tom lost his girlfriend because he was so full about being famous Lilly found love after 2 years and they appreciate that everyday

The Villain didn't even sound that good when he was singing! I honestly at first thought the Producer was a Scam Artist who was going to steal his money after promising him fame and fortune, like what happened to poor Suzie Carmichael in All Grown Up, but the Producer in this Supermission Video turned out to be legit, but dumped him because his last album that his ex girlfriend DIDN'T write the lyrics for didn't sell nearly as well as the album she did write the lyrics for. 💡

She stay with him through out everything, but a little fame came by and she was no longer to good for him, forgetting she is the writer of the song he sang, life is, never break the bridges you cross you might need the same old bridge to cross again but it would not be there ,😢
