I ordered mine recently, so I’m glad to hear ya like it! I totally am the same about companies saying to stick to their product sets, but I generally would agree with Y/N on this because it’s to my understanding that on a chemistry level that the monomer/powders just doesn’t work with their other products or any other product in general. Like, it’s just a different system?? imo if u want low oder, ya gotta take to give 😅 I’m sure for business they’d want the low oder monomer to mix with other acrylics, because they have all their other colors, so why spend more to produce separate another white/pinks/nudes/clear if u already have them? Plus, the 45g acrylic powders and 45g low oder acrylic powders sell at same price, so I’m not mad yet. If you make a vid with the Y/N monomer and other acrylic powders, that’d be cool to see. My plan is to eventually get more of the white and clear to mix my own pigments with for colors (they said this is possible with the right ratios in a QnA and giveaway vid). There’s also yt vids on how to do this with makeup or pastels, because I kinda don’t wanna pay +30USD for a huge acrylic color that I won’t use often. I know not everyone wants to DIY or have time, but it’s just an option (I have specific colors I like with my skin tone, but they don’t sell it anyways so) 🤷‍♀️

I watched the video they posted regarding mixing the monomer with other acrylics. Yes, this is a different type of monomer chemistry wise. I said in another comment that if I did try it with other acrylic I’d do it off camera, and only bring it to YT if it works. BUT I’m not a product developer chemist, so I’m leaning to not even trying it and just trusting YN. People are curious because we’re always told to use the same monomer with the same brand acrylic… Let me know how you feel about the acrylic when you try it.

I have this kit, I am a newbie to acrylic. This kit is awesome!! Yes it does smell a little, but not bad. I mean, it is monomer so I expected that. I tried LE acrylic, threw that in the trash! It smells horrible! Thank you for the video!

Hey, Happy New Year🎉 hope all is well. Missed you. I kinda wanna get back 2 acrylics with monomor- I've been dipping but I just think some of my powder (igel) would perform better with monomer. I may try this kit. I'll keep you posted and thanks for sharing

It's just my perception oh the mononero is fast-drying? Because when I use it I feel like I have to be quick when it comes to applying the acrylic!

i seriously need to get me some of this. I have the regular now need the low odor because my MIL runs a daycare. LOL. SO haven't been abe to do the acrylic yet. Much love and happy new year .

Can you try using the powder with other monomers and using the monomer with other powders you know vise versa

I’d probably do it off camera first. I’d only film it if it can be used universally. I know a lot of companies say don’t mix products. Sometimes it’s bs, but sometimes it’s legit.

That’s the color I used for the set I did. It’s ok if you prefer more of a pink nude.

Is the odor closer to other odorless monomers or is it closer to regular monomer? I don’t like the smell of other odorless Monomers. They have weird smell.
