@Dave Arnold when I became an "atheist" for most of my 20s I had to say good luck because it was all I thought I had. Funny thing, in hindsight I was only of that opinion in an intellectual way, which is a very limited part of us. Deep down I never stopped believing in Truth or Love, I just didn't think I knew they were both God anymore. It was in my search for truth in nature while studying science that I strayed but inevitably by remaining honest and faithful to Truth I was also brought back, first to the living God and then to the living Christ. I had to overrule my emotions in both cases but my heart knew the second time in a way it didn't the first, and in a way that I had not thought possible. My point is that God really does work in mysterious ways and is so very mercifully patient with us as we take one step at a time. She has some pain blocking her but if she truly loves the truth in her heart she will find herself chosen by the grace of God in His time. I pray that she does.

I instantly nodded my head. I believe that so much of this modern cultural revolution against things like family is, at base, an attack on Christ and our soul's salvation through Him. The family unit has such significance, and the parents are a direct emanation and symbol of God in the life of the child. When the child is abandoned, it throws off their connection to God and it can be very difficult to find their way back. Parents are so, so important, and seeing the way people treat parenting so casually today (as if just any pair, or other arrangement will do) scares me.

Those are definitive qualities of what the word "God" means. If it is not Truly Good, of Love & Wisdom, then it is not of God. Love is firstly positive in nature. Giving. And the idea is that the Original Creator of All Good Life would have the most to give. That is, how ever Grace applies in Wisdom, and how ever the recipient would allow. In the creation of beings of free will, as we are, we are allowed, to choose, and even act upon, that which is either right or wrong. We earn the consequences of those choices. What we earn, is of Justice. The laws, therein, determine mechanistic outcome, based on our actions. When we choose sin, as in mistakenness, then we earn negative consequences. If we were not allowed to choose something other than what God announces to be good, then we would not be such beings of free will. The explanation then, for why we are born of a wrongful nature, which produces suffering, is because, that which made that aspect of our carnal form for experience of such a life, is derived from having made a wrongful choice of sin, in defiance against the Will of God. As with the rebellion of man, causing the Fall from Grace, as in the Garden of Eden. If God is the Most Holy Sacred Spirit, Who Knows All Wisdom, and is Most Good, of Most Pure Love, then, of course, would not the Will of God, be only Good? Logically (if, then), that makes sense. Should one not imagine so, and choose opposition against God, then they have positioned themselves negatively, against what would otherwise bring them a good life of joy & fulfillment. The Father Creator of Humanity, made humans in His image, so that they would have free will, able to disobey Him, should they choose. Our wrongful aspect, of suffering, is of the progenitor who hath chosen of sin. Our right aspect, of good love & wisdom, is of alignment with God. One is carnal form, where "Death is the wages of Sin". One is eternal, where we are at one with God. Our spirit, in the essence of innocence, is ultimately, of God. Whereas, our bodies, and fallen form, can be otherwise. When we fail, we may turn back to God, to be again of that which is good, and produce the fruits of love & wisdom, by way of grace & mercy. That opportunity, is not only made possible by the ability of our own will to freely choose what is right, and repent of what is wrong, but also, we may be saved from having to endure the full depth of consequences of sin, should we accept Christ as savior. That is a crucial part of the story, should one wish to avoid extended suffering of iniquity. In the parable of the Prodigal Son, the son is of the fallen having turned away from the love & wisdom of his father, and he suffers for it. But when he repents, and returns, his father welcomes him with open arms, of forgiving love. What should the Father do, when allowance of free will is necessary? Should His children insist on sin, wherein the consequence of such is suffering, and when magnified, the making of Hell? Hell, is a word for "bad reality", made from the opposition to good will. He tells them to turn away from their mistakenness of such making. To recognize sin and separate from it. "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." He offers them a way out. A savior even, so they need not endure the full weight of their own making, should they merely turn away from evil and choose "the way, the truth, and the life". We are given a way to Heaven. Or we may make our own Hell. The power and responsibility of free will must be recognized, in order to choose wisely. May we find coherent awareness, between head, heart, and spirit, to be of good love & wisdom.

The fact he is so difficult to find in the first place should be cause for alarm. If I were a God and I loved my children....I would not play hide and seek. That is evil. Evil to the core. Yes it is so amazing to see our very own prayers answered right in front of us...that happened to me as well with two unsaved cousins of mine...one came to Christ and the other I think did as well....their father passed away and at the funeral the pastor gave the message of the gospel with everyone there...he talked about the torment in hell without Jesus...their father thank God was saved and believed in Christ...and after the pastors message he asked who wanted to accept Christ and my cousin rose his hand...his younger brother saw him and I think he did too...

Physically: I have yet to see any evidence, or even just a proper study, that shows either New Agers or Christians to be, on average: Stronger, faster, quicker, more agile or better in a similar, yet not covered attribute. Spiritually: First of all, that word has no common usage. Everyone uses it differently, so this would need to be defined first. I personally for example see "Spirituality" as something negative, similar as I see "Gullibility" as something negative, or "Nearsightedness" or "Being of short breath" - that is obviously dependent on my understanding of spirituality. As I don't want to strawman here, I'd need an agreed upon definition of it first. I read that book from cover to cover, maybe and im just giving my own opinion here, kids should be taught about god and not the teacher jesus he was a man, and maybe if you read the book that you all believe in so much, you would teach them gods name and its not jesus and that way when you tell them everything is possible in his name they would understand how, believing in something like a god should never be scary or dooming you if you don’t, everyone dies what this guy is saying is you are sentenced to death for being good or bad, maybe and again my own opinion you should just give the book to them without your on spin on it and let the words in there help them find what they are looking for, oh and guess what when someone reads the book for themselves the interpretation they get is for them not the whole world. Asking Jesus whether they should stone the prostitute or not. And Jesus said, (in the lines of) “anyone who has never sinned, throw your first rock” meaning that, we have all sinned. Whether it’s a small lie or a murder. But Jesus will accept u no matter how much you’ve sinned, if you truly ask for forgiveness and repent. He’s waiting at ur door at this moment as well. Rebekah, don't overlook the possibility that you also need her forgiveness. My mother was an alcoholic and her alcoholism created a lot of pain and anger in my life. Long after my mother had passed away, Christ saved me at the age of 51 yrs. I realized that I needed to forgive her for all the pain, etc.. Then God revealed something to me I had never thought about. In all those years I was worried about the pain I felt, and never considered the pain, sadness, loneliness my mother felt because of her addiction. I was convicted to ask God to forgive me for my selfish attitude. Clearly, I don't know your situation, and you definitely should forgive 'Stormii' for the past, but pray also that God will lead her to forgive you for any wrongs you have done to her. I will pray for both of you, and I am so glad to read that you have a saving relationship with Jesus.
