I don’t remember Vinicius, Rodrygo, Endrick, Vitor Roque or any other Brazilian talent that came after him to have this much hype while still playing in Brazil. Neymar was different. He made millions of European football fans watch highlights from the Brazilian league. He was probably the only player since 2000 who you could consider a superstar before moving to Europe.
