I don't think it's going to be "redemption" in a sense one may think. It'd be extremely lame, if they did a sort of redemption where Sephiroth goes like "welp, I'm so sorry guys" and all the good guys + him fight against Jenova or something. What would be better is him intending to merge all worlds into one, assimilate the entirety of Jenova and tons of energy from lifestream to become a demiurge and create an ideal world. Not any different from what his objective in OG was, but now that objective would be given a reason(instead of the generic I'm very evil, so I want to become a god). I think that flashback scene with Rosen can be used to show both his resolve and compassion. Meaning he's going to steel himself, while moving towards his idea of the better world, no matter how bloody the path ahead is and no matter how painful it may be for him.
Got the same perception. But he’s gonna sacrifice himself in the way to kill Jenova to make it possible (I mean, who better than him to know her weak spots). Somehow the media is going to tell to the public opinion: “sephiroth, believed dead once, reappeared to save this planet from an alien threat, a truly legendary hero”.
Que culpa tiene el de que su nacimiento fuera un experimento y a lo largo de su vida no tuviera ni padre ni madre quien estuviera con el para educarle en el buen camino. Merece redimirse.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't want to go through the stage fight again to view it. It PAINS me that the cut-scene quality is this poor on max quality in-game settings! Not sure why they did this. To avoid a buffering load screen? Guaranteed they made these scenes in native 4k and then uploaded them in 720p. GIVE US THE 4K QUALITY CUT-SCENES!
@@ji94games Ya I play on multiple devices. I just watched this cut-scene on PC on ultra settings and it's just blurry and poorly rendered. My point is: if they're producing them on their end in 4k quality, why put them into the game in poor quality? At the very LEAST: they could upload the original quality to their RU-vid channel or something so we can see what I call the "real" version. It's nice that you don't mind getting whatever quality they decide to pump out and be content with that, but for anyone that cares about quality cut-scenes, give people the choice of seeing them. Costs them nothing to upload vids to their RU-vid channel. Just good marketing for the game.
This is probably a pretty good and also pretty sad metaphor for a destiny full of pain, that can become a part of you when you try to live up to orders and expectations instead of following your heart, your inner light or the higher aspirations of your soul.
