I know that there are a lot of storylines that needed to be dealt with, like Missy being rebellious, Georgie and Mandy starting their life together, George and Mary's supposed cheating story, Meemaw being less reckless in TBBT... but I'm happy they are seemingly going to develop Sheldon's arc and bid farewall to the character!!

There are only 4 episodes left if they run each week....the finale is May 16 😢.....perhaps the focus is somewhat on Georgie and Mandy because I believe their spin off got the green light. Not sure, but I agree it seems a tad rushed. Missy needs some TLC ❤.....and if they give George's passing the same heart string tugs that they've done masterfully throughout the series, get your tissues 😢

I did the math on this season and, up to the last episode the character with the most screentime overall was actually Meemaw, though that might change this episode.

If anyone’s interested I can actually post the count but Georgie and Mandy are overall in the top five as a unit but behind Meemaw, Sheldon (those first three episodes did a LOT of heavy lifting) and it depends on counting them seperate or together as well. Unpopular opinion: Georgie is the true villain in this story. The only reason he got Mandy pregnant and married her was to move back to his parents' house. Instead of moving out and getting his own place with wife and daughter, he constantly evades taking responsibility for his life

Sure, he's carefree and dropped out of high school, but he was pretty good at almost every job he picked, is trying to be a good husband to Mandy and Cee Cee(I mean he did lie to her initially but he is/was a dumb 17 year old). Plus His entire family's life got completely altered(in a bad way) by a tornado, finding housing for himself wouldn't be a priority at that time
