Missy and Paige are friends. But Paige just thinks she's alone and had no one. So this one statement could mean a lot to Paige.

@@bluecloud7441 Nope. Could just be a falling out with Sheldon and they don't speak, could go the darker route with death like they are going to have to do with George at some point, or she gets abducted by aliens. I feel that last one is the most believable in this show.

Especially with all the dark side Paige is heading. All starting with her parents divorcing....she's a genius but stopped caring about school, started to shoplift, dropped out of college, and now drinking beer.....it's scary to think what's next for her. I always think Paige and Sheldon are 2 sides of a coin. Bad things are going to happen Sheldon too. As know from the Big Bang Theory. But it doesn't lead him going down any dark paths.

Remember when Penny woke up in bed with Raj? What if Paige wakes up and thinks, "Oh no, what did I do with Sheldon?"😄

I agree, but my experiences were different. I was in college 72-76 and our college had a LOT of fraternities with houses on campus, and lots of parties with the house being on tap. At my 40th reunion we got to talking about that and as parents now how risky it sounds, and to a woman, they all said that they knew that if they were too drunk (or high, it was the Seventies) someone would make sure they got home okay and were safe. I'm sure there must have been some bad stories - no college is filled with saints - but I never sense an attitude they drunk co-eds were prey. Once in my house, a girl passed out on our pool table, and we put her on my couch, gave her a pillow, blanket (and bucket) and left her alone.

That does make sense. As he had like 61 people he put on his list. Several made amends and got off the list. Will Wheaton and Tam as we know from the Big Bang Theory. You just can't 'betray' Sheldon in any fashion. I mean I would think his brother Georgie was on the list...being he wasn't even on speaking terms with him. Until his mother made him talk with him...

Given it's 30 years later and she doesn't particularly like him half the time, it is not hard to believe she just moved somewhere and they lost touch. I mean Billy and the guys in his neighboring dorm were actual friends he saw a lot more regularly and Sheldon never mentioned them but unlikely they are dead.

Another way here Paige's character was created much later, so it makes sense she's not mentioned. Yes, make all the theories you want, but that's the reality.

@@HasufelyArod Correct. Funny how people create scenarios as if this fictional show were real. Paige was created for the Young Sheldon program as a character to create conflict for Sheldon. They may even have originally thought the character would be a one off, but people really liked her and they may have realized that there was more they could do with her. There's no reason to even create a scenario as to why she was never mentioned by Sheldon on TBBG. All of us have people from our childhood who were a part of our lives (even a big part of our lives) and with whom we long ago lost touch and never once mentioned to our spouses or adult friends. And why would we? I had a close friend in high school who continued to be aimless after graduation and who tended to get into trouble. Eventually I moved on from him (though he liked to seek advice from my mother and kept in touch with her for a few years and then disappeared). The last time I saw him was several years before I met my wife and I don't think I have ever mentioned him to her.

Sheldon is a wierd person is the kind of guy to totally stop talking with someone. and when know when he fully moves out to get his PHD his envolvement with thefamily is minimal as Adult Gorgie said. he would only speak with Mary a few times here and there. So makes sense on his 30's lose total contact with people from his childhood

I don't think that gonna happen, at some point they have to explain why Sheldon never mention her in TBBT, and i think that will be a sad story.

The girl that plays Paige is way to busy in her own career.

Maybe the day that Young Sheldon comes to an end, maybe there will be an epilogue of Sheldon as an adult which explains all this, or something like that?

@@retmania It could be, but as someone who is between Sheldon and Georgie's age I can say I lost touch with damn near everyone I knew when I was 13 by the time I hit my 30's, and not like my friends I had as a full grown adult heard much of anything about people I hadn't seen in decades. I mean Sheldon never mentioned Billy or his friends in the neighboring college dorm who were among the small number of friends he actually had, but doesn't mean they are dead or the like.

Tam only appears in tbbt after young Sheldon started, before that no mention , Paige was only going to be in one episode so just another name on Sheldon enemies list. As for Georgie he is only seen in the wedding episodes and is barely mentioned before that, basically Sheldon doesn’t think about others even those close to him.

Or it could be what happens with most childhood friendships…..they drift apart and lose touch and neither one of them tried reaching out to the other🤷‍♀️

The show has hit a snag at this point. We all know where Sheldon ends up and over a decade of details of his adult life. Heck given how Sheldon was portrayed at the beginning of TBBT even giving him any kind of romantic interest is mostly off the table. Yeah, the show is not always consistent as to some degree they have to take artistic license but most of what happens to him is pretty well mapped out. True we know what happenes to Sheldon's family also, but Georgie and Missy were in like 3 episodes total between both of them, they got a lot more wiggle room and other then Georgie owning the tire business and Missy having kids most of whatever else we got was such small tidbits most would not call them on not acknowledging them. And we know nothing about MeMaw other than she was still alive so they can do practically anything with her and not conflict TBBT. Sheldon't parents are a bit more restrictive, but we know little about Sheldon's mom even as much as she showed up besides she never remaries after Sheldon's dad dies. George Sr. they have taken some liberites with, while he does drink he is not the drunken redneck Sheldon's stories told in the early BBT episodes and so far Sheldon has not found him with another girl. So it is clear they some retconning since his dad being a fall down drunk serial cheater like was implied in TBBT would have been way to dark. But even then it seems unlikely they are going to ignore him dying as that was such a defining part of TBBT, so he is a bit stuck in we know he sadly comes to an early end but beyond that they can do mostly what they want with him. Sheldon is just hard to do much character groth with as he mostly was the same this show started to how he was in The Big Bang Theory. They have taken some liberties (most notably it was implied before Leonard Sheldon basically never had any friends, where he has made several friends throughout the show who to one extent or another would also consider him their friend such as Tam, Billy, Linkletter, the guys in the neighboring dorm, the bully who got protective of him in high school, the geologist girl in high school, and even Paige and the blonde girl who is in the same class as Sheldon have all become his friends to some degree or another)

After spurning Georgie's repeated efforts to be supportive, she deserves to be dumped, not married by Georgie. That would be the life sentence being served by Mandy's father. Nah i think it's great, u see young sheldon season 1 was all about sheldon but to be the show it's at it's best when it's about the coopers, Georgie,Mary,George,Missy etc . they all had bigger storylines and the how just got better.

Yes it is!! . It’s actually part of the Warner Brothers Studios lot . Many movies and Tv shows have used that fountain either for background scenery or for the friends intro . This fountain was also used in a scene in the 1993 movie “Hocus Pocus” .
