Belfast is the north, the north is historically Protestant and is British. The south is a different country and is historically Catholic. For long periods much of both societies hated each other to the point of the murder of children. This track is about getting past/having got past that, so it’s catholics saying they agree with a Belfast/Protestant guy, which is unusual historically

Young Spencer's music is respected on both sides of the divide and one of the reasons why he has become quite popular among the communities in West Belfast.
