Omg this is a blessing. First time I watched this movie was in my former Chinese class. It was very emotional for me. Now I’m emotional again. This brought back old high school and middle school memories. The stress for exams and keeping up the gpa. All the family issues because of school. The friendships we built and the ones that got severed. It really is a wonderful movie

This movie really reminds me to my last year in high school. We had a national exam in my country, which decide whether you can graduate from high school or not. As it was in the movie, failure in the national exam is a big no-no. The teachers in my school also remind us from time to time about the importance of the exam. Some even had extra lessons, and I didn't sleep until midnight. It was a year full of pressure. It's already some years ago, but I still remember the excitement when the exam was over, and also a sadness that we have to be apart. It's really good. I was touched.

This is for the English speakers down in the comment section. Watch this movie if you like a slice of life genres, it's a slow one but I feel the main character is very interesting and I can't help but relate to him since I felt like how he felt at one point in my teenage life. Just watching him grow as a character is enough of a journey and is something worth sitting through the slow pace movie. Basic Synopsis; Teenager learns to deal with and understand the struggles of growing up. Some themes covered in the film; friendship, heartbreak, growing up, adulthood, and teenage angst and shenanigans.
I think the slowness was the actual theme of the movie. It seems to tell the truth but it lies. In 2013 China was under attack from Barack Obama: the Trans-Pacific-Partnership excluded China and was designed to "weaken and isolate" China (Financial Times), and he also ordered the US Navy to transfer most of its ships to the Pacific, "pivot to the Pacific", a.k.a., "rebalancing. Maybe some people in China thought China had to become like the US--very slow--in order to defend itself.
Very nice and memorable story.. Remind about our history in school.. make me miss my classmate, little gang, ex-love & teachers at that time..everybody should watch this movie
I'm from Australia, so had a very different school system with no-where near this kind of pressure, but I can say that my class, as well as teachers, at school was also very close. Like a family. I knew I would miss these years of my life and that they were a precious gift. I was very lucky.
i thought at first he was genuis, then fell inlove with a girl, but its all about future , thanking her teacher for doing what's best for there future, nice movie
Only asian could relate to this movie. I swear. I thought it was a love story, but it came out that the movie is about how love could change us and how it could affect our future. It could encourage but could also ruin you.

Very nice movie, nice ending. Those years for many are the best years of your life despite the pressure of exams and the fear that the world will end if you fail. It doesn't, so enjoy your time and your friends during these years because you'll never have friends like that again and your youth will soon depart, leaving only the memories.

So flim showed at the last he continued his further lyf with the loved nd cared ones.
