Then I just KNEW that Netflix show was gonna launch him.... nope again (and I think he should've won that show, too, fwiw). Everywhere he goes, he crushes it, but then nothing. It's so sad because he's so insanely talented.

@@koolkeithv8037 he definitely gained a little more popularity after the show but I think that him really not dropping much of anything outside of albums is probably hurting him. He does short clips from verses and whatnot on IG but he would probably benefit from dropping songs or remixes more frequently

@@koolkeithv8037 it's been 3 years since an album and it looks like he's put out 3 or 4 songs in 2 years. That just isn't enough for someone trying to grow. Especially when the peak attention was a few years back when the show aired. That was the time to grind and drop a bunch of new stuff to keep the buzz going and growing. Just my thoughts though 🤷🏼‍♂️

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! He's a well-regarded & respected songwriter from within the "Rock" genre from the 70's & 80's. I'd LOVE to hear your take on his signature song.
