I don't know how to safely use a nail gun, but I've learned through this video that safety goggles are a must if using a nail gun - no excuses. If you can't see through your goggles then try wiping them with a cloth, even if it's your shirt - they've likely to have fogged up.
If only the safety goggle industry would make all their goggles so they can’t fog up, even if it is expensive, there would be no reason for workers to remove them on the job and end up hurting themselves
Did his boss tell him to use a nail gun without training? I doubt it. As a tradie myself if im not familiar with any equipment i don't use it until im trained properly with it
Instead of teaching physics to high schoolers teach them trades then they wont get shot in the eye while remembering everything they learned about electromagnetism and how it didnt save them at all that day.

not a chance, those paslode guns will drive a nail through steel, for it to turn around 360 and smack him in the eye.... but still, should have had his ppe on, not even wearing gloves!!
