I'm about to turn 21 this summer I have no real "adult accomplishments" I still live at home and am in between jobs Struggling with college Both my friends are moving away I have my boyfriend but I can't cling to him for all my problems in life that I have, because that's like toxic..... It seems like I can't do anything right I feel like I have no future ahead me I don't know what I want from life I know it's just the depression talking but Anytime I talk to anyone slightly older than me they act as if I'm crazy Your 20's are the "best time of your life" they say I feel like I keep letting days slip into weeks and then onto months I don't have enough time to make myself happy before I die As a person who has been struggling with depression since I was around 5th grade I always thought maybe when I got older I could get a nice job, money and a home to be happy in But now...it kinda feels like even if I were to ever make it to that point..I won't ever be truly happy. I mean I understand, that no one is always happy. But I thought maybe it could better...now? It just seems like downhill. If I can't be happy as a child in elementary school, how am I gonna find happiness as an adult with major stressors throughout my life. Life is just.. really overwhelming Being alive everyday is even harder But running out of time, being gone from this world? Fucking terrifies me. But on a different note, I really like this song keep up the good work!❤️ I'm excited to listen to more music of yours.❤️

Aw man this song hit deep. It really did make me realise I can't run away from everything and just push away uncomfortableness, I just have to accept reality and maybe do that with a smile.

This brings me back to when everything was really shitty (it still is but it has gotten a bit better) with my family and friends, but one summer i realized i couldn't keep running from the mental abuse i was being put through. This song just makes me remember the thoughts running through my mind as I was preparing myself. I just love this song so much.
