Literally in every drama i saw,there were the red dress😂😂😂 and ML@FL/villain always wore the same dress@shirt from beginning to the end..does the actress/actor don't have nice dress to wear beside the prop one😅😅😅
This ML almost seemed like a split personality/2 people. In the 1st 5 min I wanted her to bankrupt him and in the next 5 the whole family ruined. The initial setup was really the trope of the scumbag cheating husband when he cheats, is divorced and later ruined while FL finds happiness elsewhere. But suddenly this ML has a shift and can see things and care about things he was blind to for 3 yrs? I mean he knocked her into a wall, saw her bloody face post altercation with his mom and still allowed mom to kick her out after stripping off her clothing? He then lamented how she would be back in a few days? What kind of abusive psycho thinking is that? Even if somehow excuse everything at around 1:38:00 he says something about them torturing each other forever - totally obsessive narcissistic psycho. The disgusted with himself/seeking redemption and various revelations just don't fit. The initial behavior is just unforgivable and his later explanation about the SFL in her nightie in the first scenes being staged by her but he was unable to see why his wife might be upset and had to ignore her after knocking her head into the wall yet rescue the psycho who supposedly snuck in in her nightie just because "savior" ??? I still have half an hour and I understand she will forgive him but unless he went no contact with everyone who bullied her including his family I really don't see how she could. I really wish she ended up with the assistant. That would have been a better story line. Heck, I would have liked her to have been mistaken about her little brother hero being the ML and finding him as someone else. It would have been more fitting.
99.9% of these drams advocate the abused FL to forgive the abuser ML no matter how damaged the relationship is. Really tiring and gets boring. Skipping and I'm giving a down arrow so I skip it if it crawls through my TL again.
i watched this bcoz Meng Na is my favorite FL & i stuck it out bcoz she's a great actress i wanted to see her interpretation of a rehashed storyline (this is her 3rd drama ive seen of a similar version) but ultimately it was ruined bcoz writers wrote FL as brainless & had no self-respect no wonder the earlier scenes focused on ML reaction as FL signed the divorce papers
I still have a knife in my purse, but also a screwdriver, pliers, tweezers and a tape measure, but make-up, lipstick and a mirror are not in it, I´m just a typical woman 🤣 I'm rather interested in the fact that, considering how rich people are there, they only have one, or a few clothes, and even though the girls have tight suits, they always have a mobile phone or an invitation card, bigger than their purse. Their handbags are like the Tardis🤔 or when someone kidnaps them, their cell phone always goes with them, which is then not far from them, or suddenly appears at their home

One of the most annoying tropes of these dranas is the people at thr FLs company not knowing who she is. If I were going to do a takedown of an ex on what should be my hone turf in 3 days, I would be using those three days to meet and be known by the people there, as well as setting up a trap or two for the ex involving upper management, or at least giving them a heads up on the problems.
Nope, not going to stick around and pretend I'm cool with this. I like this 2 main Leads but no amount of Millions can make me go back to this kind of Scumbag 😬😒.

It almost impossible to believe the female lead can endure such treatments from her husband and her mother in law. She is from a rich and she herself is well educated, she should have left long ago.

To be fair the underpant thing was not husband's fault. It was his mother barking at FL and FL having had enough of her MIL throwing the clothes away in anger. He tried to stop both of them at the time. And he sent his mother in a nursing home abroad and promised FL that his mother won't be able to come back to trouble her anymore.

ML: Du Yafei FL: Meng Na This is the 5th drama they have been paired together as leads. Love their chemistry in the other dramas. ML acting as a scumbag husband in this drama is somehow is an unpleasant watch.

Is the ex-husband a CEO? He doesn't even act like one! How can he become one who leads hundreds of people but is easily lead by the nose by his mom and the other girl???? And he felt that he has the right to do everything he did to the fl!! It is so annoying that I skipped most scenes. I am dropping this after watching for almost 40 minutes. Cant stand the annoying mom and the other girl cause they are always shouting whenever they meet the fl.

He legit saved his mistress while let his wife hurt in blood in the first 3 min, he let his family abuse his wife daily, he let his mistress alongside him all at the time, he valued, saved and presented with his mistress over his wife all the time, people outside even though she was his wife and one of most important he didn't give a shit about his wife, he knew nothing about her, didn't cared if she's dead or alive, didn't even knew she hurt her hand and it was obvious so how come he isn't abusive? He's text book abusive and their relationship is high grade toxic, abusive and manipulative. Im dissapoined she went back to this trash, if she stayed as a slave for him, he won't ever "realise he love her", which is not love but posesion.
Oh my, even though the plot is like the usual, the scenes flowed together and is one of the most intense versions that made my heart ache and cried some tears!!!! The emotional scenes by Meng na was truly amazing and at least the script writer/s showed some depth in understanding the pain the FL went through and made it felt (me 😢) A must watch 🤩

Hewas in love with her all the time , but as he told her pride and arrogance made him blind and stupid . He made sure his pathetic snobbish mother and his vicious sister were abroad and well out the way .... Misunderstandings and selfishness allowed him not to see how she ws actually treated .Still a scumbag but he was eager to make amends nearly died for her twice ...so she cut him some slack.....you cannot stop loving someone at times ,even if you try.
This actress is awesome, always playing strong leads .. The actor is handsom though he does not have much works ! And why all dramas are the same?! Same ideas, same dialogues...!?
A marriage without trust and good communication would not end well. Making it worse, they were betrayed by wicked, lying /scheming family members, namely her so-called ‘sister’ and his controlling, status/money crazed ‘mother’… Without doubt, ML’s so full of himself + foolish / unintelligent character contributed to the problems/failure of their marriage.
