You know since they're supposed to be married and should act all close and lovey-dovey. And then those two will be forced to get close and eventually fall in love and actually get married for real. If that's the plot, I have seen that a dozen times in South Korean dramas
For this drama, it's a contract marriage. They never dated and she only gets married to get away from her family. But still, k-dramas act too cringey with these scenes.

The bride's ex-fiance likes the bride's sister and the sister herself knows it, so she keeps on hanging out with her sister's fiance despite knowing that just to fuel her ego. In the Eastern cultures, its not common for men and women to be in a physical relationship before marriage. Its considered normal in the West, but its still not widely acceptable in the East.
In this case , this isn’t true. I have lot of Japanese and Korean friends and the subject of sex came up a lot and sex and sexual activity is very common before marriage. That’s why love motels are popular in Japanese and Korea. Especially Japan they have themed loved motels.
