Remember watching you back in the day you were part of a three piece band that you eventually added a singer to. You also wore a purple shirt with a phrase on it I can’t for the life of me remember. Hope you’re doing good, nice to see you pop up in my subscriptions again after all this time
thesugarybear hahaha! Thanks for still watching! Omg that must’ve been 10 years ago! You’re probably talking about the “Rock N Roll Ruined my life” shirt. I’m in two bands currently and start recording for a solo project this week. So I can’t complain. Hope you’re doing great also! This comment made my day!
i read the tabs, practiced it a bit and came to this tutorial to make sure I was doing everything right and my pinky wasn’t the only pinky breaking. im newer so these stretches aren’t common for me so thanks for the tutorial man it was great. just have to work on getting my pinky used to that shit.
@@mil182 hell yeah, played piano for last 11 years and I got tired of having to learn metal and rock on a piano so my gf bought me a strat for Christmas last year. haven’t stopped since, definitely a different ball game but I love the community here on RU-vid
Thanks! Yeah, you could definitely play it on an acoustic guitar. It may be a bit more challenging but it can be done! Also, the tuning in one half step down from standard. Eb Ab Db Gb Bb eb.
It’s a squier classic vibe 50’s strat that I changed the pickgaurd out for a white pearloid and added lace sensor red/blue/silver pickups and black plastics. I have a short video about this guitar on my channel where I talk about it because I get asked frequently lol
Hi! Thank you! Sure, so you need to tune your guitar 1/2 down. So instead of EADGBe each string will be 1/2 step flat (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb eb… your tuner may also read it as D#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D# which is the same thing) it’s just half step down.
Yeah, the intro that’s clean has a flanger on it and when it kicks into a fuzz. Preferably a fuzz with some more bottom end like a Russian style green muff or pickle etc. I think I just used some random fuzz in my helix
@@Equinnnn no problem! Flangers are all kind of different. But generally speaking you’re going to want a slower speed, not super wet o/ depth maybe in the middle and a good amount of manual. May have to adjust to taste.
Dixie Normous this was all done on my line 6 helix. I’m not sure which mods exactly I used but it would’ve been a noise gate, a clean tone from a Marshall style amp like a jcm, a fuzz pedal that’s more on the thick side like a Russian green muff or swollen pickle and a flanger (MXR flanger is the mod I used).
Nicolas Giraldo M. Thanks! Yeah, I really like their new album. A lot. When I have some free time to sit and learn the tracks, I’d be happy to do some videos. I’d like to be more active on here, it’s just hard between the different bands I play in and real life and all that lol hopefully I can get on top of that
Nicolas Giraldo M. Just wanted to follow up, I started learning webbed wing songs and plan to have covers with corresponding lessons posted starting this week. I’m using a new rig so I’m just learning how to film with it but hopefully won’t be too difficult
