I had my colours done in the 1980s. I sat across from the analyst for an hour while she held hundreds of fabric swatches up next to my face. I also attended a group session after, which included info on what shapes, hair styles based on your hair type, fabric patterns, jewelery and even types of furs (😢) were best for me! Bottom line, I am a late Winter with some Spring. It really helped me because I had always chosen dull colours and neutrals. You should have seen me trying on a bright fuschia blouse in the store. I was truly giddy to see myself in the mirror!
The bow front top is a completely new designer to me and l would love to have the chance to try the pattern. I haven't done very much cabling before, only fingerless gloves, so the side cable detail would also be a real treat. Thank you to Alex for offering the Weronika pattern for the prize draw.
I love how you put together your podcasts! You are so inspiring in all the projects you do! I love it and the music 🎶 too! Thank you and have a fabulous day 😊
I am a soft dark summer. Which is really close to the light autumn, but also is slightly muted winter colors. Ironically, I am like oh i have clothes in most of these colors.
I’m green with envy, I checked locally and no colour analysis. I’ve been concerned about online. I’m glad you had a good experience!! Thanks for sharing PS- love the midnight/swift T ❤
I guessed you were Autumn before you said it. My mom was autumn. My oldest sister is spring. I consider myself a spring/autumn. I definitely need warm colors. I’ve almost always worn gold jewelry until the last few years. Now I wear either, but I think that gold works best on my skin. If I wear gray or black against my face, I get asked if I’m sick or I think people will just want to pick out my casket 😂 How fun to do your colors!
As someone who is on her own color and style journey. I had thought that you were an autumn. Those mustards and olives are just amazing on you. I'm always so impressed when someone looks great in a yellow. I'm a self categorized true summer. No yellows for me!
Wow! I’ve yet to see someone who tensions their yarn over their whole hand like me… until now! 💚 Love your vlogs. Down to earth and inspiring. 🧶 Happy Knitting!
I love seeing all the beautiful things you are making! Many years ago I did color analysis for customers at the fabric store where I worked. Based on what I can see of your skin tone and eye color I would have guessed an Autumn. Your are a rare beauty!
I made a Tegna in Euro Kid Cotton. The pattern is great, and the finished top is a wonderful summer piece. It looks good dressed up with a skirt and dressed down with some ankle jeans. You will love it!
Every time I watch one of your videos, I discover something else I love. Some samples: the music, the transitions, your gorgeous makes, your general retro vibe. From this one: your Swift-ness. I would totally call that the Antihero Tee, which opens up options for you to design other T. Swift related knits.
I was debating buying the pattern and that side cable you showed off sealed the deal for me 🥰 would love to win a copy, but also love to support indie designers.
Well done! I love the color analysis idea, loved your jewelry review, and of course your knits are amazing. I can't wait to become a better knitter so I can knit some of the lovely items you knit!
The weronikia looks so elegant....I love it! I'm glad you feel confident with the colours that have been selected to go with your skin tone. It's a concept I have always wondered about.
Another wonderful episode Kaci 😊 All the knits you working on are so beautiful, your tee design is looking so Retro can’t wait to see it finished. The yarn that your spun has gorgeous colours!
That is so kind to gift a special someone one of her patterns. I had my colors done years ago at a party called Color Me Beautiful. Was fun like a Tupperware party lol. I was a winter which I think I am. Learned a lot. Thanks for all your info.
Ah, that was so fun learning about your colours! Your Weronika sweater is stunning, and WOW I love your idea for the Swift tee! That'll be such a fun knit ~ looking forward to the pattern release 💕

I am not surprised at all that you are a true autumn! I've known it from the first podcast of yours that I saw. Congrats, TA has such a beautiful palette! Luckily, you seem to already work your pieces and environment with very autumny colours, so it will probably be very easy to live with your season and love it.
Love your Swift-T! This would be a perfect shirt to knit up for my daughter. She loves to wear vintage clothes. I've never done a test knit before, but would love for this to be my first if you are looking for testers.
the vert.and rose, Weronika Sweater, is gorgeous! Also, your first design sweater - TS: Swifty- is adorable! So many inspirational projects -- thank you!
GM So Happy to watch you this morning Your Swift Tee is gorgeous Excited to see it done You are such a beautiful knitter Have a great Easter 🐣 See you soon 💝😊🇨🇦
I normally knit, but I'm crocheting a summer top with Drops Bomull-Lin. I am so in love with linen and how it looks in a knit garment. I love your linen top!
I loooooove the color for your coffee run collar. You inspired me to knit the coffee run collar and I finished it a little while back. I used DK also and I love my collar!!!
Your Swift tee is incredible! So fun and beautiful. 😍 loved spending time with you once again.❤ also, the color analysis was very interesting. Caught myself inspecting my veins while watching. 😂😂😂
Oh I am also so confused every time I do a color analysis test. But for sure green fits me ;) loved to see you back and sounding healthy again✨ and the Weronika Sweater has such lovely details😍
Lovely episode! I was especially excited about your colour analysis as I treated myself to one of those just last spring and seem to match your type to a T 😅. Maybe that explains why I’ve always loved the aesthetics in your projects… Sending lots of love 😊
