All good Hip Hop is like that. It's what I love about it. Different style and crew, but "Regulators!" . . . "Sixteen in the clip. . . " still makes the hair on my neck raise up.
Biggie was the one receiving instructions at the beginning. Biggie is playing the part of Frank (Frank White) in this story. Blanco is the mob boss sending Biggie to go close a deal with a third party. Blanco is warning Biggie, NOT to try to rob these guys, because they are sooo dangerous, (but if they try to stiff you do what you do!!) Biggie promises (But of course, you know he had his fingers crossed) Those 7 digits push BIG to try to rob the dude anyway... to that end, he hooks up with his boy Arizona Ron. The rest is history!!! lol 50 should make a movie based on this track!!! lol
Biggest the greatest story teller ever as a rapper very vivid if you ever want to hear an album and get lost like a movie one of the most slept on albums it's called black trash the autobiography of Kirk Jones by sticky fingaz the dude from the group onyx idk if u heard a them but that's who 69 stole his flow from. But the album is like a movie each song goes into the next and it's literally stories of his life great album
Check out Big L “Casualties of a dice game”, “98 Freestyle”, “The Heist”, and “Ebonics” just to name a few🤣 They all on his “The Big Picture” album ✌🏾🖤✊🏾👑

Keep telling everybody biggie is the true greatest rapper ever. I love Tupac i love alot of rappers. Hiphop is in my DNA. I know alot about hiphop. The culture is the greatest culture in the entire world by far. I always say if big didn't die he would be the rapper with the biggest numbers in the world str8 up. Bigger then Tupac if he was still alive. They would of sqashed they beef and made a album together right after biggie making a album all on his own still under Diddy tho. That never made album is exactly what would have topped him to the point where he kills it and never has to worry about anything. And his kids would be with him he's to me the greatest. That life after death is an absolute timeless classic. Biggie we miss u. Wish you were still alive.
This wins greatest story ever spit on wax. Honorable mention - Nas I gave you power, Ghostface Impossible, Genius Killah Hills 10304, Cube today was a good day, Face mob...
Look up and react to RA the rugged man. TO me the greatest lyrically, and he worked with all the hot acts of the late 80's through the 90's. A lot of rappers bit his shit as they moved up, but RA was blackballed. Biggie worked with him, and said "I thought I was the illest, until I met him." Dude had a new album come out in April, some of his best shit ever. You like the old shit, because the 90's, especially the mid to late 90's were considered the golden age of hip hop.
The rap game use to be like the nba or nfl. Not everyone can make it to the league, only the best of the best make it. Now because of the internet and social media anybody can put out music and have a following without. New rappers in this era have problems at the art story telling . You hear a lot of rhyming and not actual rapping .
