The Notre Dame Fighting Irish defeated Youngstown State, 88-81. Dane Goodwin scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the Irish who had all 5 starters score in double digits. J.J. Starling scored 17, Trey Wertz pitched in 15, Nate Laszewski added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Cormac Ryan scored 13 points in the win. Adrian Nelson led all scorers with 27 points for Youngstown State.
