I like the running boards that come out when you open a door, then can click the end with your foot to make it go back so you can access the bed. Can also close the bed with your remote, hit once then hold down. 😊
My 2020 1500 LTZ has all of those features except the digital display (I have real dials) and the no seat belt/no shifting feature. The second one would be a pain when we are doing field work and I have to move equipment around. As it is, I have to remind myself to buckle up when I leave to go to town or home lol.
Great video! I liked the outside mirrors bending by remote, but when I have the feature enable, the mirrors bend when my Silverado locks, always, and un-bend when it is unlocking. I would like to know if has a way to control when will bend or not the mirrors!
I have a 2014 Silverado, I’m guessing the 2024 has similar issues as mine. It took me a long time to figure out what the problem was with these trucks. It’s the part between the two bumpers, same problem for years!
On my High Country, you press the tailgate release on the key FOB twice being sure to long press the 2nd time until it closes. If you release it, the tailgate will go back down.
I just got my Trail Boss LT and when go into the Comfort and Convenience menu, all I have is Chime Volume. Does this simply mean that my truck doesn’t have remote folding mirrors or the reverse tilt-down feature?
Mirrors fold and unfold just by locking and unlocking the truck holding the keys is no necessary. Power up tailgate is just for the non multiflex tailgates.
I like your video. I played with my. I know it's a GMC 1500 but they're basically the same. I found all these mucking around with the instruments and stuff but I love your show. It's really cool
There ought to be a college course to help blokes like me to cope with all of the complexity. I would rather just be able to put my mitt on the tailgate and manually slam it shut or drop it open.
It locks when you lock the truck. If you want to confirm, lock the truck with the fob, place the fob inside and go back out and try to open it. It won’t :) until you have your fob nearby
I would literally pay extra money to have all these new automatic features permanently deleted from my 23 Sierra.. Auto stop, auto ebrake, rear seat reminder, incessant honking and dinging for everything… Rear seat reminder.. loool k yup my pile of work receipts, dirty clothes and McDonalds wrappers are still there Sierra please stop judging me thanks
So far so lame the remote auto climate is the first cool feature that hasnt Jesus been widely available since before 2007 my accord drops the windows with the fob or with the driver door cylinder
Does it have a secret 12v power plug? I can't believe they thought that was a good idea. No 12v accessory plug= no buy. I should not have to add that. Usb power adaptors will burn up or go obsolete, then what? Morons!
I just got my 24 Duromax. No 12 volt receptacles and don’t get me started on the block heater plug in. Mary Berra needs to resign and put a car guy back in charge
@@rogerbobrowski5741 For what it’s worth, I purchased an ac to dc converter on Amazon that will plug into the 110 receptacle in the center console. It has the round, 12 volt socket on the other end.
The tail gate features opening and closing are so extra. Not just Chevy but all trucks, Who needs all this tech to open and close a freakin tail gate? 😂. what can you possibly be loading in the bed if you can’t even open and close a tailgate yourself? So cringe. Nice truck though
"What's up guys?" or "What's goin' on guys?" must be the most unoriginal intro line for almost every car review video. Really? Come up with something new
My 08 Tahoe LTZ has 281,000 miles so was time to get a new vehicle. Never had transmission problems on mine, just saying. 🤷🏼♂️ I drive like I’m driving Ms. Daisy though.
My previous 2016 1500 Transmisson last 200K miles, had changed transmission fluid three times , then it started rough shifting, but still drivable not that bad, I traded it in get a new 2024 HD2500, love it, so I guess just need treat vehicle well and they will treat back well.
