You're not an awkward person. Your true nature is beautiful. Maybe others might think that when we don't represent in the way that makes them 'comfortable'. But that discomfort is because they are uncomfortable with the truth, & rawness, authenticity. It's easy for the World to judge our highest truth because they want us to be how they want us to be, they want to see what they want to see. But, it's from a false idea of conditioning that teaches us to believe the lie of who we SHOULD be to serve them, not who we are. ♡

One thing I realize. Very early on Joseph had already known about his gifts, he knew he could interpret dreams. God revealed that to him so that he can be placed in a position “for such a time as this”!

Also two important parts of that story. Jacob (Israel) rebuked Joseph's dreams as well, despite him being his favorite son. Genesis 37:9-10, KJV 9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? Not all Joseph's brothers wanted to betray him. Benjamin his youngest brother and also the son of his mother, wasn't part of the betrayal and nor was Reuben, the eldest brother. Reuben persuaded the other older brothers to throw Joseph into the pit instead of trying to kill him. Reuben's plan was he would let the other brothers leave and he would come back and get Joseph out of the pit. But while Reuben was away the other brothers sold Joseph to the Midianites. So when Reuben went back to retrieve Joseph from the pit he wasn't there. It really shows God had bigger plan for Joseph despite how bad the circumstances looked at that time and even someone near you with a good intentions can't save you. Genesis 37:20-22, 29, KJV 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. 21 And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him. 22 And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again. 29 And Reuben returned untou the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes. Even like you mentioned the cupbearer. What if the cupbearer had of told to the king as Joseph asked him 2 years earlier. Joseph may not have been around when Pharaoh's dream needed to be interpreted. And the after effects of that could have been catastrophic. There may not have been an interpretation. That would have prevented the preparation in the store houses in preparation...etc.etc. It needed happen on God's timing not when Joseph wanted it to happen. It's an important lesson when you are just so ready and God is saying not right now.
