Hey Gem! I was in group 4 and wanted to share something with you. I’m an ex-flight attendant. You used the “mask” analogy and I wanted to tell you why we say to help yourself before others. At 35k feet, you have about 30 seconds before you lose consciousness in a depressurized cabin. If you don’t help yourself first, you won’t even have time to help yourself family, and of course you risk your life and others. I love this analogy so much, especially as a mother of 2 littles, I often say “my mask is not on”, and husband understands what I mean.
