In all fairness......I need to disclose I haven’t even watched this video. BUT, literally NOBODY else is posting NZ Bachelorette content - and I’m desperate to vent.. I get that dating for several weeks to ultimately result in an engagement is an absurd idea. BUT, that’s what the “Bachelor” IS!!!! Is it ideal, NO! But it’s the timeline and the format that the US original series created. I absolutely LOVE that Bachelor Nation has truly become just that - A Nation! The franchise has been beyond successful both in making connections, but also creating a family of viewers. That said - I’ll be real. I don’t know the show got lost in translation to other countries. Almost anywhere but US, the show ends with a couple merely interested enough to pursue a relationship. YES. In that timeframe, that’s honestly the best option!!!!! BUT the show is CALLED - Bachelor and Bachelorette - RING included in all of the graphics!!! It’s never been set out to be just a dating show! No shade if it was, but that’s not what the franchise started as!!! NZ (especially this season) of Bachelorette is honesty just a joke. Neither of the ladies seem even remotely interested in even dating someone exclusively at the end of this. I’m on the last episode am PAINFULLY bored. Even if either or both choose to end up with someone - it’s already set up to be super casual “I choose you to date”. Bachelor/Bachelorette Franchise is a very guilty pleasure. I certainly am not here to encourage any rapid engagement. That said, isn’t that also the idea behind the franchise?!?! I’m just lost. Bored. And thing neither gal really even cares to be a part of it. Hoping this quarantine ends soon so we can see some LEGIT Bachelorette action Clare-style!!!
