It’s misleading and spiritually wrong to refer to the teaching on this subject as “Maharishi Ayurveda” MMH was a guru - a teacher of metaphysics - and as he repeatedly reminded us he is bringing to a modern Western public the ancient wisdom and knowledge of Veda. Under the present regime it’s being promoted as just a lifestyle support like many others - you pays your money and takes your choice Ayurvedic practice is part of Yoga, the path to bliss-consciousness - but it’s only aspect and like the other eight, it’s interdependent on the others to help the yogi evolve to cosmic consciousness. If you don’t understand this, and listening to these charlatans you probably don’t, then you’d better forget it - otherwise these people will just keep taking your money for this potion or that massage or this treatment and you might as well stick with the statins after all

If Veda, and the Thousands of Years of Masters, why do the ‘modern’ TM people need ‘titles’? Governor, Mother Divine, Raja, etc.? If you met Tat Walla Babba, would you seriously introduce yourself as a “Governor of the Age of Enlightenment” without expecting to be laughed out of the ‘cave’? This knowledge and it’s knowers is thousands of years old. Please.
