Plot twist: Pingly was unknowingly planted by the superhero(es) to be an incompetent assistant to the villain. The villain figured it out right away, but kept him on because, while his mess ups are frustrating, he’s just too adorable about it all.

He’s so sweet and adorable I want to give him forehead kisses!!! Such golden retriever energy and I love it!!

“Would you *_please_* stop that infernal humming..? I’ am _trying,_ to work.” I said, straightening from my task and looking behind me towards my assistant, arms akimbo now as I turned. My expression softened slightly at his explanation, and I tutted a bit at his further question, “yes my.. newest plan is quite… elaborate. Lots of… tricky little details.” I replied, trying to play it if as less stressful than he thought, but obviously, being my most loyal -companion- _assistant,_ he knew me too well. His exclaiming his undying loyalty to me, _-as endearing as it was,-_ ended up yet again knocking something over, which just so happened to be- “YES that’s my new invention!- just- JUST- stop. Be still. Stop touching things.” Upon his asking about my latest plan, why I had to let out a quieter version of my signature laugh now didnt I?~ before preparing to go into excruciating detail with much delight.~ Now while his guesses were, adorable, and despite the fact he seemed quite chuffed with himself for coming up with them, especially the chicks one, _-might have to put a pin in that one-_ they left much to be desired. “No I’m planning to kill everyone you see, cut them, _fillet,_ them~ hmhmheheheh~ and, then finish them off!” “Are you sure we have to go to such.. _extremes…?”_ he asked, letting out a small nervous laugh. I raised a brow and crossed my arms, looking up at him, “are you questioning my ability? My ingenuity? I am the most respected villain far and wide remember?” I asked, leaning forward slightly and grinning imperceptibly as I saw him lean back just that little bit in response before he agreed, and went into some of his favorite and most memorable of my plans. “hmm… well what would you suggest then?” I asked, sniffing slightly and resisting a grin at his praise as I regarded him. A coma? A paralyzing poison? Hmm… honestly I hadn’t thought of that… that _would_ serve to keep my victims alive to torment for longer… “I’ll take that into consideration.” I said honestly, leaning back as I moved my hands to clasp behind me. “Thank you your villainy! You’re really very generous!!” He said as I turned, and I couldn’t hold back a grin, I always liked when he called me that.~ “It’s an honor, for me to work with such a competent villain.” Oh now that- he’d best be careful, such words might give me some dastardly ideas… “do you think you might could help me test out some of this equipment?” I asked, though my tone conveyed there was no room for ‘no.’ Though I knew he wouldn’t say no anyway… he was always so _-good-_ loyal like that~ I leveled the machine towards him, yes, covered in spikes, glowing red, crackling with orange sparks… _dangerous…_ just the way I liked it~ “I might get hurt!” He protested and I gutted again. “Isn’t that the nature of the job?” I asked rhetorically. “Will you give me a kiss..? O-on the forehead-“ he asked, and I raised a brow, though I was willing to honor him, “I promise I will.” I relied, smirking slightly. “As if that’s gonna convince me- I’m not crazy! I’ve almost dies several times following your orders-“ he said and I looked at him, not quite pouting, but almost. “For me then.?” I asked, as close to pleading as I would EVER get. But he didn’t know that. *_-and it will STAY that way dear reader.~-_* Though I was -a lot- _a bit_ sadistic I couldn’t bring myself to put him through _too_ much pain… so I acquiesced to his cries, grinning at his “I think this equipment passed the test…” before raising a brow at him as he asked to choose the next object, my hand hovering over the myriad options. As he picked up the flower I had to quirk a brow, but quickly stifled my growing grin as he went to sniff it, “do not inhale too much of that pollen.” I said firmly, going up to him to supervise his handling of the plant. “It’s cute of you to worry, but I’m not allergic!” He replied brightly, and I had to grin, extending a hand and saying, “hand it hear please.” Then his sneeze caught me off guard, and I blinked several times before groaning inwardly, knowing what was about to happen. As he turned back around from grabbing a tissue to wipe me off, he was, understandably, confused. “Your villainy? Where are you..? I hear noises but I don’t.. see you…” “Down. Here!!” “I said, louder than normal cause I was… much… smaller now. “The pollen.” I said dryly in response to his asking how I’d shrunk, and nodding at his asking if it was one of the properties. His crestfallen expression and tone of voice would’ve had any other person weak in the knees, remiss not to comfort him extensively, but, being me, my expression only softened, as I said “I’ll forgive you if you follow my instructions to make the antidote correctly.” My tone far gentler than I would use on anyone else. -He was my favorite after all- He was my right hand man after all. I smiled slightly as he brightened, but quickly hid such as he helped me onto his shoulder so I could better guide him through the antidote making process. “Is your mind in places it shouldn’t be?~” I asked in response to his saying “good thing your clothes shrunk with you-“ comment, his denial was adorable. -as always.- Soon the antidote was made, and I was back to normal, “yes I’m still in your arms- put me down.” I said, before squinting at him as he asked “are you sure you’re not forgetting something?~” -damn his slight flintiness- reminding me that I had a promise to keep. I am a villain, not a crazy person, I keep my promises. I huffed slightly and kissed him on the forehead. -His thanking me for said forehead kiss was far too cute to be legal… wait a minute I’m a villain what am I saying- My protesting him carrying me to bed was quickly shut down, he did have a point- can’t carry out my evil plans if I haven’t had sufficient rest now can I?… His thanking me for letting him remain by my side? Adorable. His tucking me in? Doubly so. “I hope you have the most wonderful of nightmares…” he said quietly, and I smiled, before murmuring “you too my handsome henchman…” I blamed the sleepiness for making me so mushy.. but I did mean it. “Yes… you have wonderful nightmares too…” Bit of a longer one this time lol I loved this so much!! I just- He: “Good thing your clothes shrunk with you… if that hadn’t been the case…” Me: *“PINGLY-* _reads the ‘script by’ in the thumbnail_ wait this is a script- *_LILACTEABAG-“_* They’re both a little demented, BUT HE STILL A FREAKING SWEETHEART WHAT THE HECK. Honestly gives me Addams family vibes and that is a major YES from me- Also why is ‘newborn bones’ so fun to say…? Is something wrong with me? Lol This is way too cute to be legal Pingly- WHY IS HE SO WHOLESOME AAAAAH- *_he is the sole thing keeping the world from total annihilation oh my gosh-_* He’s so sweet and attentive and you brought him to LIFE.
