I'm not in med school, just watching this in case I turn to a life of crime and have to sew up my bullet-ridden flesh by myself.

Having a nurse as my neighbor is teaching me how to suture and put ivs in so I can be ready for anything. Especially my 95 year old grandfather who despises hospitals and will fight u on that.

When I let go of both ends of the surgical knot, it always loosens the knot before I can secure it with another throw. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I'm trying so many different things to keep my skin edges together but they always separate. Please help!
