*You tell Kris they’ve killed you 7 times already. *Their grip on their sword tightens.

I had an idea that your Vessel could have the attributes that you gave to it in the beginning. For an example, making it's favorite flavor "sweet" would give you several healing items like cake or cookies that heal you some amount, and an added effect would be making SPARING easier by giving you more effective ACT options. Things like "sour" or "salty" could give you food that boosts your defense or TP gained, but "pain" would raise your attack when you get hit or something like that. There could be some additional cute flavor text when you heal using one of the items. Obviously the gift you give it would have an impact too, like "kindness" would increase the effectiveness of acting, "bravery" would reward you with more TP for grazing, "voice" would allow extra ACT options for talking and give actual voice lines, things like that. This is just a spitball idea so don't criticize too harshly. tl;dr Your vessel's options in combat are changed by your choices in the beginning

You know, depending on the actions you’ve made throughout the story, kris could be seen as the villain or the hero. It’s interesting to think how this fight looks like from different perspectives.

It seems like this battle is one hell of a crisis, or should I say.... _Kris-is_ I'm a REALLY huge fan of the usage of Megalo Strike Back, I'll be ecstatic if it's used in DeltaRune; the segment with THE WORLD REVOLVING is also one of my favorite parts of this cover, very nice work with this cover dude

This really feels like Chapter 7, and we're not even halfway there.

I would love for the final "secret boss" to be Kris, and you can only fight them alone. It'd be such a big fucking impact, all the secret bosses being people who were being used from the shadows, and Kris just falls in line with that. We're using that vessel and Toby is aware we know it's coming into play. Eventually Kris will discard us, and we'll have to get back to them, calling it now.

Good use of Megalo Strike Back, all sounds like a Hopes And Dreams Theme, I was expecting something darker but it's really good!

To be honest I always believed from chapter 1 that the character you make at the start will come back later somehow and I really hope its gonna be something like this

(Referring to: Ralsei) *You feel your otherwordly sins cutting deep into your soul. *You think you are above consequences. *Very, very interesting. (Referring to: Kris) *You're now the one in control. *...There is no audience. *Nobody came, and nobody will ever come.

The use of the freedom leitmotif here is stunning. Incredible work.

*The only one guarding against you from total Genocide... Is none other than true owner of that body you held, Kris. *Knowing the call of the Abyss, you stood against these freedom seekers... *Your DESTINY awaits... *You are filled with... DETERMINATION.

* You try to tell Kris that you only wanted to help. * The words don't come out. * You try to tell Kris that you're sorry. * You can't make a sound. * You try to say something, anything. * You have no mouth.

It's songs like these that get so much effort put into them only to get less views than it deserves. Great theme man!

You’ve woven the various leitmotifs together like a tapestry! I think I even heard megalo strike back in there!

I'd expect the theme would be called "It's Just You" if the player was to fight Kris

if something like this ever happened, id love for the player's new puppet thing to speak as the player, saying things like "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A PERSON, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE *ME* " really tap into a sort of childlike anger, i mean imagine if you wanted to play an rpg and make decisions, but your character was trying to be their own person, this isn't their life, _its_ _your_ _game_

Ngl that freedom leitmotif's really well done. This is possibly the best fanmade deltarune theme I've heard.

I really hope that deltarune's ending is like this. Just like sans is the twist hero of undertale , Kris would be the only hope of keeping "YOU" , the one behind the screen , from toying with everyones lives .

loving the use of THE WORLD REVOLVING leitmotif since it’s a reoccurring theme of being controlled/self-aware (Jevil believing he’s “free” and Spamton literally being held up by strings) and how it relates to Kris being aware that something is forcing his actions via his SOUL

I'd like to imagine you somehow get seperated from Kris at some point and your friends aren't very happy with you for controlling their friend. But as the battle progresses, they realize that Kris isn't truly their friend, YOU are. How much do they really know about Kris? That's all been YOU! And it could lead to some cool moments. I like to imagine the game ending with you and the 3 heroes posing together for a picture like in Undertale.

Chills literal chills, this is a awesome theme and I hope this fight becomes canon in the later chapters(probably the 6th or 7th). Also I wonder if this fight would happen either way in a normal route, weird route, or both?

Seems like this would fittingly happen during Ch. 6 or 7. If you've taken the pacifist route, this battle doesn't happen. If you've opted for, _other methods,_ this is a super-difficult boss that isn't optional.

Damn now I want kris to be the final boss of chapter 7 if you did everything in "snowgrave".

This slaps so hard, damn. The chill, mystery/fantasy building up to the drop and then going of with a not overly epic but chill enough music, and some of the 'calmer' parts... I would definitely believe if someone said this was made by Toby... if I didn't know how talented this community is and what jams they can make lol Also battle art/edit/photoshop/idk made me think more about an idea where the main character you made, basically you, fights off Kris cuz destiny and shit, damn I would love if this happened in the game, such a good idea Also dat detail with Gaster voice or whatever it may be at the beginning

I love the idea of the soul controlling Kris belonging to the character you created at the very beginning of Chapter One, aka: you, the player.

I feel like this ending could vary based on what route you’re doing, but either way it ends the same. Like everything else. In a pacifist route, Kris free’s themselves from your control and confronts you. Mostly out of fear due of being controlled by you. Despite the good deeds you’ve helped them achieve, they’re still suspicious of your control over them. I mean, who wouldn’t be? The battle is you convincing them that you truly mean no harm, and that you are just helping them achieve a better life. Eventually, you succeed; then you and Kris form a truce, perhaps even becoming friends in the process. Either way, Kris then allows you to control them with no struggle. A benefit from this is that ACT’s are more effective with Kris. Indicating that Kris is now truly on your side. In a Weird Route, Kris free’s themselves and confronts you. Out of fear and anger from your actions. Attempting to erase you from existence. There is no possibility of sparing. As you deplete Kris’s hp, their control slowly diminishes. Giving you more strength. Once you do kill them, they’re erased. Kris is gone, their personality, character, memories, are all erased. Leaving a completely empty husk. Which the player then controls. As a benefit, your attacks do far more damage. Indicating that now with Kris gone, your capable of doing more damage without possibility of them holding back. Both fights have different different motivations, but end the same way. You gain complete control over Kris.

I get the feeling instead of the player name being YOU it would be the vessels name or your save files name...

Something like this will definitely happen in chapter 7. Calling it right now

I could see a potential Kris fight being on a timer of sorts, as they probably can’t last very long without a SOUL. In the normal route, you’d basically be on a timer to either reconcile/negotiate with Kris and set your differences aside to face off against the final threat before they collapse (which would probably just start the fight over) whereas in the Weird Route it’s an endurance boss where Kris is WAY more resilient and determined to stop you, and you just need to tire them out so you can forcefully puppeteer their body again.

I love how the Vessel is just standing there, slightly slouching, the strings all over it and its soul showing. It's like it really is just a puppet for the player, and either knows it deserves this from Kris and doesn't want to fight, or it doesn't care enough to try. This is an understandable but unfortunate lashing out from Kris, one that was long coming for us.

This is just... AMAZING! Subarashi! I really find kind of fitting that the player's (or "You's") theme is this way, filled with motifs from The World Revolving, Megalo Strike Back and others that I sadly can't identify because my ear isn't that smart lol. But like, it makes you wonder: Which one's destiny? Player or Kris's? because so far, whenever Kris takes out his soul, he does evil things. So... while we're the ones pulling the strings and basically sealing the dark fountains, are we _really_ the good guys? consider Snowgrave for example. Maybe that's why the Vessel's color pallet is in gray scales rather than light or just black, because we're in control of our Destiny and Deltarune's destiny.

So I added this song to the playlist I sleep to and I remember being able to hear it play while I was dreaming. Basically the only part of that dream I remember is this playing during what I imagined to be a secret boss fight of all the previous secret bosses (but there’s only 2 chapters so the only bosses in my dream were Jevil, Spamton NEO, and the fan made Mike fight) But this song fit so incredibly well that I keep trying to get it to play while I’m asleep so I can have that absolutely amazing experience again.

You two are one of the same... controlled by some higher power... so... you along with the Deltawarriors come together... souls side by side... to fight the angels and banish them... your soul glows... suddenly a white light emits from it and you now wear armor... similar to Kris and Susie's armor... the Dreemurr family crest rests on the back of your armored coat duster... glowing a determined blue... yet you aren't in possession of the Red soul of DETERMINATION like Kris... your soul fills you with HOPE... for you are the hopeful soul... ready to fight for your people... fight for Darkner and Lightner kind... fight to save the universe... you utter a sentence... Kris looks in shock... "Asriel- how do you know Asriel?!" Love the uses of the leitmotifs here! Also, I've always had the idea that since you *are* asked to input not only your name but a vessel name, that vessel name is likely going to be used for when we inevitably encounter or even play as it since our name is already used for the save file and our town name.
