I'm in a scout group and I'm gonna build four of these for our summer camp. I've been searching for the best design for months and you convinced me that yours is the best. Huge thanks for the group!
I'm a welder for 3 decades and I see many many welding jobs and this little wood stove is one of the best I see I'll make this week I have to make 4 for my son and daughter's an many for my friends thanks very much amigo long life to you amigo I live in san Bernardino CA. Mi casa es tu casa.
Nice and simple. I used 3x3x1/8" tubing (that's what I had on hand). It worked beautifully. It took a several days (partial days). Thanks for the video.
Love the KISS design.... KUDOS! By using 4 round bars placing one into each chimney top corner another piece of square tubing can be added as a simple chimney extension to experiment with optimum draft and influence of cooking top temperature.
I like to see your videos a lot as you are a real trades man and do things the right way with skill. One thing I never noticed you doing in rocket stoves. They usually say that the fire box should be insulated so that it will heat up as much as possible so that it will burn all the gases produced and will have a more efficient burn.
Great work fella. Im a UK 🇬🇧 guy and love everything that's involved in camping wild. I've always wanted a rocket stove but only have a Kelly Kettle but will make one some day. Keep up the good work 👏
WEAR GLOVES 🧤, my pro tip because once you cut your fingers off you’ll regret being careless the rest of your life. Leather gloves saved me a lot of grief already. Josh on Moonshiners can tell you about that. Just my opinion, in shop we were taught not to wear gloves while using a drill press but it is very different from a grinder cutting wheel.
I think it’s an awesome little stove, looks a bit like a minion, just paint them yellow and blue. This little stove will work just fine for Wok cooking, lots of heat and short time cooking. Thanks for sharing this video.
Using a cutting disc to grind the steel... Nothing more Australian than that! love your build mate. Good on ya!!!!! last thing could we use cable tie to fix it? Just kidding. Nice video keep it up.
Hey 👇 M.aster O.f M.etal M.anipulation👍😎... That's what i called myself at work when opportunity arised or a self pat on my back~ Lalittle¿ I always wondered why most everyone always use angle grind/cutter Backwards? I'm like you > it's my favorite tool ! But I always cut on a Pull Back to myself
Hello friend ... I liked your video, I would like to know where you bought your welder, what brand it is and how thick the rod you are using. We have a welder, but quite bad, always grabs the welding time, thank you if you can inform me where to buy, hugs. Saulo Quevedo.
Best advice I can think of. More people are injured by grinders than any other tool. It was meant to be a funny statement with a sobering truth underlying it.
