Additional Tips for Novelcrafter - Getting Started 

Don't bother . . . after replaying the section enough and trying to use the autogenerated captions, which unfortunately couldn't understand her either; I figured out that she said you can't use it without an internet connection. Worse than worthless.

If you clone the system prompt (see our most recent video), then you can reduce the output words to whatever you want -Kate | Education

Currently we don't have this feature buuuuut it's our most requested one, and so we're actively working on the project! Keep your eyes peeled :) -Kate

Glad you like 'em! You can configure your plan view by opening up the "View" settings in the upper right corner of the screen. You can set you layout (vertical/horizontal) as well as the size of the scene cards. There's also the matrix view if you need the usual spreadsheet stuff, but it's not for rearranging scenes - it's for associating labels and/or codex entries and keeping track of (sub-)plotlines.

"...plotting and moving around..." Isn't that something that Scrivener does with its 'corkboard' feature?

Yes! There is a help button in the bottom right of the interface. If the bot can't help you, then you get put through to a human (well, me haha) -Kate | Education

As many as you want! It all depends on how much you use it. We run a BYOK model so that you have complete control over the models that you use, including running local models, so that you only pay for the AI that you use.

I noticed that too. I have a hard time understanding some of what she's talking about due to her accent.

I have no trouble understanding her, and English is my third language. If you have trouble understanding her then just activate the autogenerated subtitles.

Thank you for the feedback. Is it the rate of speaking that you would like slowed down? If so, we can work on that in the future, but in the interim, playing the video at 0.75 speed will hopefully help. Or is it the content covered? -K

Need to start from square 1, eg why not go through how you would write a short story and introduce concepts like ‘codex’ and ‘nested codex’ etc
