NO!! i said to myself, iam not a pro, i dont know anatomy, I barely know the zbrush commands, I barely know the brushs... i will use a base mesh, and this opened the world of 3d to me , now I'm learning Maya, I want to learn how textures, rig, animation, and various other 3d softwares, just because I had "that feeling of success" in zbrush using base mesh, some may feel proud to say "I've turned that sphere into that monster "but I as a beginner have no problem in saying" I turned this human head into this monster " I think it's up to the beginner to decide how hard he's going to be with himself. (this was the first time I used a base mesh , after getting frustrated with the sphere, and it was crucial to have continued to study 3d imgur.com/a/C2vU3BG ) .

I wish I had read this comment before starting. Demotivation is a real pain that can cause young budding sculptors like me to throw away the brush.

@Ergean Ismail i know right cause i remember watching earlier Maya tutorials and they always had the shortcut keys appear while the tutorial is going on.

Lucky Enam I don’t think zbrush has that feature like maya or blender. They’d have to do that in post in after effects or premiere or whatever they use to edit their vids. But zbrushs shortcuts are fairly simple for the most part. Ik it doesn’t seem like it but imo they’re easier than something like blenders shortcuts

Modeling directly on top of the images is a good way. You can put the images in the background and reduce the opacity of the ZBrush window (top right)

I've been poly modeling for years using blender wanted to give a go at zbrush sculpting and got myself a cheap tablet. Huion brand. After a week I can NOT think of using the mouse for anykind of design ever

This is just default ZBrush. A good one is 35mm or 50mm

We highly recommend it. Your sculpting will be better and you'll be less likely to be injured

you go to the document tab (top left corner) then you should see a range option, set it to 0.
