Great video, as usual! By the way, your Neewer TT560 flash is one of the few speedlights that can be easily modified to accept four LiFePO4 batteries, which yields fast recycle times! Also, the instructions to put the largest leg of a C-stand under the front-heavy light/modifier is good advice, but the sandbag should be placed opposite of that front-heavy weight on the second biggest leg (the sandbag should not touch the ground).

For low light weddings / events I love using on camera TTL bounce flash angled to the ceiling with a bounce card. If I'm outside or the ceiling doesn't reflect well I simply angle the flash a little bit forward. Mostly high ISO around 1600 to 3200 1/125 or 1/250 sync speed and aperture wide open. Gives a natural ambient light look with subjects that pop in a natural way without looking too flashy. I mix it up with some slow shutter speed creative shots as well as no flash shots.

This was really helpful, because I have been stumbling in terms of light and flash. Also, this was a fun different video for you, although I love your solo videos (all your videos). Curious, wondering if you will do a Nikon 1 (I forget the models you mentioned at beginning of summer) video? I'm eagerly awaiting your Nikon Zf video, but hope you'll tell us about what you think of Nikon's first foray into mirrorless. Also, not that you need more ideas, but I think it would be fun if you'd do a video of you and your nikon/Mamiya friend (I think you called her your closest photo friend) doing something. Anyway, you don't need my ideas, proceed as you want to/wish to. I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for what you do and share!!
