I was disheartened as I thought Mufti Menk was going to discuss the validity of the various types of mortgages etc. I love the mufti & am extremely grateful for what I have learnt watching him but one of the criticisms against him, his avoidance of certain key topics. Would be of interest to know his stance on a topic like mortgages.

Loan/interest is not allowed in Islam for luxury. But for buying a home on loan is it allowed? As this is my necessity or should I keep paying rent and shift when my landlord asks me too. Plus i am unable to save tax on my hard earned money. Someone knowledgeable please advise

You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 6. And the easiest of all, share this message with people. Even if 1 applies to any of the above, you gain. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."[Muslim]. You will be rewarded continually as well, in sha Allah.

Get lightweight, foldable beds, instead of sleeping bags or inflatable mattresses. You can use the bathroom and Internet at the local shelter or library. ALWAYS keep your ID with you because the police with bug you (especially at night😡👮🏻‍♂️). What is the sin of stopping the water connection of your tenant by the landlord? I think you should make preaching about landlords doing this to their tenant especially tenant is paying on time and no debts. Many Muslims who are rich and very religious forget this. And discuss how heavy is the sin of stopping and preventing tenants water connection.

Dear Mufti Menk thank you , i have a question , in order to rent here they're asking me for a credit history and for this you need a credit card, and many say it's haram. What can i do then? live on the street? i'm really confused, and on top of that you need a credit card if you want to rent a car or book a cruise or airline, they don't all accept debit cards.

I've heard from a few imams that you r allowed to buy 1 House because it's a roof over ur family head is this incorrect? Because paying rent is also paying towards someone morgage,please help?
