Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. Our animation shows how they protect us in our day-to-day lives and why they are so important.
🦁🐯🐆🐑🐏🐺We have lost, or are losing more and more of our human rights each day. However, I do believe that when everyone is prepared to stop their b*******, start paying attention to LIFE, and become aware of the fact that we are ALLL CONNECTED, we can change the CHANNEL 🦄🐥and make this a beautiful world to live in. Peace🙊🙉🙈🍃💮😙💚🌻🌿☘🍀🍃
"Rights" is just a word. Governments can and *_do_* suspend them when they feel it's important. Worse, these so-called "basic rights and freedoms" can be violated--by powerful groups like corporations and governments AND by average citizens. And it can co$t a lot to hire attorneys to defend your so-called rights. If you're lucky enough to find an attorney who thinks it's worth their time to get you the rights you're supposed to have. And even if you get your day in court, it's up to whoever's presiding to "interpret" the law. Rights are just ideas. When those who're more powerful want to trample on your rights, they know how to do it and often get away with it.
@Hannah Qualified immunity is a perfect example of how the powerful do NOT have to go through many congress... steps to trample on our so-called rights. The US Supreme Court, the ultimate legal interpreter in the US, made up this doctrine that any government worker is essentially immune from prosecution for violating our civil rights or otherwise harming us. So, basically, the government has exempted itself from having to respect our rights. Ridiculous. That's how fragile "rights" are. Not being argumentative, but I think it's super important for people to understand that our rights are NOT at all guaranteed. We have them only to the degree we can afford the money to fight for them or the powerful care to respect them.
They think that they can trick me to get things that I don’t need through advertisement and make me a believer but I am not falling for it. They can all drown in their Greed using poor people from a country dictated for the rich while the working force lives in the slums. The leaders are not the only opens to blame, the consumers are to blame as well, policy needs to change and those in charge need to walk down the stairs of shame. This is why I wrote a song about the subject matter, the more that is spoken about it the more we can all help make a difference.
This video needs to really go viral especially through the use of electronic media because it's very important we know our rights as human beings. You can imagine a doctor whose patient above 60yrs of age has a high sugar level and was placed on admission in his hospital for 3 days. They had to run 11 tests on her to monitor her sugar level and the test bill was #5,500. The patient paid the hospital bill of #38,700 and was surprisingly given a hand-written sugar lab test result which due to errors, have some cancellations in it from the Doctor. This was handed over to the patient by the nurse/receptionist at the hospital with a copy of the hospital's letter head. In her words "You should go and type the test result and return the letter head". And it keeps me wondering how this height of human right violation can be in the medical field.
This video is what those in the UK who yearn to leave the EU seem to have forgotten. This video deserves a much wider publc audience. It needs to be shown across as many TV networks as possible.
Not everything, but much is not achieved in practice still, and it is very saddening. I feel incredible sorrow for those in countries and situations where they truly are being deprived of their lives, such as Muslims in China.
the thing about Human Rights is that they apply as long as you're in UK TO A LEVEL. outside of that UK will not abide by these human rights values and treat other nations like lesser people even though they are still human. convincing.
In srilanka there was a protest featuring kids demanding the right for underage marriage mentioning puberty as the requirement for marriage. The caption was human rights violation
I know one hunter96woods, and his rights for now is watching as he turns into a Vegetable with damaged brain without memory by special "security" service.
In Philippines we have the commission of human rights and we are disappointed on their actions because they never pay attention on the innocent victims it's opposite they only defend the criminals and there's no such thing they serve pure justice its only their illusion..
These rights r very essential. I just wonder why "inclusion" is not extended to fetuses... I mean, don't they also deserve to have the right to life etc?
What are the Human Rights in this case ? We yearn for Democratic measures yet in cases like this we shun from them. What has our Chieftaincy as a whole turned into ? No more allegiance to the sovereignty of our Chiefs, Elders and Kings in Ghana ? How can an officer from the National Security hold a political office and also undertake private ventures ? Do you know how sensitive the position as a security officer entails ? We stand for Freedom and Justice because The Law makes us supreme beings who in turn hold the center from falling apart. Where is the Chief of the town , the Omanhene for the Kwahu Traditinal Area and a state lawyer acting in support of this young lady ? Please, let us all not take the law for granted in matters like this !
I mean, they are! Everyone has the right to be with whomever they want to be with. However, these are HUMAN rights. Giving specialised treatment within the Human Rights would then alter the name of HUMAN RIGHTS.
One's right to education is limited to what education he can provide to himself. Otherwise he is encroaching on the rights of others in requiring that they provide him the education he seeks. Same for healthcare, food, clothing and housing. In assuming one's rights, don't consider that one has a right to force others to deliver services to one. Such a viewpoint violates the rights of those being forced to pay the taxes or labor to provide such goods and services.
Then anyone could argue that being obliged to satisfy some law infringes on their "rights" to live as they want and not act according to the law. Just goes to show "rights" is just a concept different people interpret differently.
@@aiahzohar5636 You can interpret the word square to mean any shape with four sides, but that doesn't make it so, a square is 2d shape with four vertices of 90 degrees with all equal length sides. But a square is just a concept really, there is no existing natural structure that follows the rules of a square perfectly. But it's the strict rules of a square that make a square, well, a square. Do you understand what I mean?
