I would not associate being human at all with the new creature in Christ. Humans are created beings,ie. God above,breathed life into dirt,below, and God saying man is truly flesh, and to dust he shall return, but , Christians are born of God, just as Christ was raise a Spirit body, not of material, but could manifest material qualities, because spirit manifest material, what is seen came from what isn't seen, meaning that Christ was not both of flesh and Spirit, but only of Spirit, that is the only ingredient in the new creature [ spirit and also reference to a new and renewing mind/soul], that could manifest the flesh. Humans were made with the dirt of the earth. The new creation is not. Mere enhancement is short-sighted in the light of Scripture. A separation from limitation of the flesh and thinking that is limited by the flesh is essential to walking in the Spirit. Alijah enjoyed enhanced ability when he outran world class chariot teams. Phillip enjoyed total teleportion traveling via the indwelling Holy Spirit. In as much as the actuall flesh body is not the mind, and as much as the ressurected Jesus was not of the earth, but from above, so much is the new creation not of the old, and the born-again believer not of, or limited by, the flesh and this world. We are not of this world. We come in in peace. And Jesus came to divide/deliver us(and all who so repent of this world and choose freedom in Jesus) from the world. Praise Jesus.
