Then you send me to your sister who is my enemy to ask how I can get you out of prison and then you want me to marry you to bring peace to our two kingdoms? Is that correct?

I like how in the end, even if he was tasked to guard you originally, he tells you that you don't need a rescuer, that you are capable on your own--in the end you are equals, and it's a nice subversion of the trope that gives less "valiant knight defends helpless maiden" (is there a gender neutral version of maiden? Can't think of one) vibes and more like "I will be beside you to continue to fight together."

This came together beautifully. A perfect bedtime story for a world with a weary heart. Great job! I think our Hamer is a knight of the old code: a knight is sworn to valor, his heart knows only virtue, his blade defends the helpless, his might upholds the weak, his word speaks only truth, his wrath undoes the wicked. *sigh* The knight was the very first video I watched. From the moment I first heard that voice I knew I was hooked. I came for the romance and stayed for the goofy humor and serial killers. Yeah....its complicated. 😏

I’ve been following this series since it began and the ending made me very happy. Having them all compiled into one with the added narration is amazing. Though this time I listened to you sing, I teared up. I don’t know what was different about this time, but it made me reminisce as if looking back on a bittersweet memory. This was truly a masterful piece of writing and acting. It has truly stolen my heart, and inspired a novel out of me. Ps: I need the Celtic music just on its own to listen to as well. This was perfect timing. I’ve been up all night with a very sick kitty while staring down the clock waiting for the vet’s office to open. My being upset wasn’t helping either of us, so this calmed me down and tore me away from counting seconds. Just as before I got pulled into the storytelling and really liked the addition of the narration.
