I disable fps counter because i don't wanna remind myself again that i own a potato pc It's a basic psychology,when i was getting 20+ fps in games,i was happy,but when i turned on fps counter,even when i was getting 25+ fps, it's felt bad Because our mind has been engraved by the internet that "30+ fps is playable" It completely ruined my experience,what priyam is saying is 100% legit Proof : myself Great video,i hardy see people cover this kind of topic,props for that Appreciate that instead of grinding the old school stuff like many others,you come up with content as original as possible

I used to play watch dogs on 30-40 fps with the counter off. I didn't even realise i was playing on 30 fps until i turned the counter on

Broooo so true in fortnite chapter 1 i always wanted to get 144fps like streamers then whenever i would die i would blame on the fps and stop playing cause of the fps , in chapter 2 the settings got reset so after like 1 month i literally got soo good at the game then i turned fps counter on and whenever i would see less than 70 fps i would just stop playing thinking i can’t be a pro player and after few days i realized that its because of fps counter literally i went into the game turned it off and literally 2 months later i became so good that i was winning every single match Never ever turning on fps counter again

I leave the fps counter on for the first few sections of games to see and tweak stuff to be ideal, and after that I turn it off. I did that recently with death stranding. But I do keep fps and ping on in highly competitive games like counter strike.

I just check in the beginning how much fps my gpu can get in that perticular game on RU-vid than match with my own pc after that i turned it off permanently, because it is really distracting to always keep that fps counter on.

I don't keep my fps counter on cause, I can't even play any game on my pc. So, I use GeForce now and obviously, I would get decent fps so I don't care to turn it on lol.

I leave the fps counter cos I have a laptop and I play valorant, apex, FH, cs go etc etc Sometimes if there's so many VFX going on in the screen (raze boom bot, paintshells, Jett smoke, brim smoke etc etc) fps starts to dip.. so I have the counter, see if I get a dip and then peak / rush, if I don't do that my fps goes below 30 and becomes very choppy and unplayable.. And I don't have fps counter on forza cos IDC what I get xD It's the FPS/ ONLINE. Games that I have the fps on
