Man, Furitek and Redcat have both been killing it lately, so it only makes sense to pair these two together. I've been on the fence about getting one of these for my Ascent and my Fcx24. The cost of the system has been the only thing holding me back. All of the reviews I've seen for the Furitek systems have been amazing. So happy to see they've released one for the Redcat now. Thanks for another great video. 😊

Mini crawlers are amazing when it's pouring down, building small opstables with some books boxes and you're set with a day full of challanges

That Volvo body just really suits the Acsent 18. And if I may say so, with hopes you take it the right way, you. With your style and humor, I can picture you rolling through a Tim's drive-thru in a full size of that. (just for a single, old fashion, plain Timbit) LOL! Would love to get that brushless kit. Would be my first. If not me, hopefully a fellow Canadian since they're so spendy up here! Thanks!

Those Furitek systems are great. I have one in my SCX24. I have a Ascent18 in a basket from a hobby store as well. Just need to hit the purchase button. This motor/esc combo would do it justice I think. Keep it up!

I've been staying away from brushless for the little crawlers but this has changed mind. I really like the slow crawl plus the higher top speed.

I got the 1/10th Ascent and I saw the 18 on the shelf and knew I should’ve got then too. Now i want and now they are back ordered 🤦🏻‍♂️. So hopefully I get 1 soon to upgrade to a Furitek too. So slow and smooth.

Still waiting on my local shop to get these little trucks in. Apparently they got first shipment and they sold out pretty quick. I’m on a waiting list. Hopefully this week. I’m anxious to get it and do a fair amount of upgrading over time as a fun tinkering opportunity. Thanks for sharing and I’ll keep looking for more upgrade ideas/videos. Cheers, love you bye!!

Sweet! I've been wondering about these options, it sounds like the beginners pack is a great place to start. I've only ever had brushed motors, the 270 being the largest, but it's also heavy & high. I'm hoping that somebody makes a carbon LCG chassis for this soon, but so far the upgrades have been cool! Thanks for the video!

Great video. I have 3 barrage 1:24 and I use them with the kids around the house on the crappy days when we can't go out. Hoping to build an indoor crawl track on 1 or 2 4x8 plywood sheets for competitions in the future.

It is really cool that it a drop in kit and nothing else is needed. I don't upgrade things too often but having everything included to get it going is very appealing. I do love the little Ascent 18 and this would be a great upgrade for it. Thanks for showing it off and the steps to get it put in there as well!

Great video as usual. I have an old Red Cat short course truck that I like a lot but I never really enjoyed racing. I found that I enjoy crawling more. So it looks like both sizes of this crawler will be in my future!
