Mikey through your channel i learned about this group and every time i play Slow Ready my girlfriend gets in the mood. So thank you so much🤣🤣🤣You might have safed and put a sparke in our relationship 🙏🙏🙏
Mikey, I have always loved the Tonality of Wood Pulp/Paper Cones especially Dali Speaker Lines! Lyngdorf Products seem to be Pretty Good Value for the Buck! I Trust your Judgment/Ears for Musicality!✌
Love the Dali kore! But probably needs more amplification for that speaker! Maybe your NAT audio giant tube SET amplifiers will wake them up nicely to stun us all!
Dali's SMC tech seems cool. Their wood fiber woofers look cool too. Lyngdorf, is Mikey giving Room Correction a chance. Good to have an open mind and check it out.
Don't change your Opticons for nothing less than KORE or EPICORE. As acoustic concept and speaker layout they are the small KORE. Look even how close their crossover frequencies are. You will not get any audible upgrade unless you buy one of these two models. And for its price of 3000 euro Opticon 8 Mk 2 is the best loudspeaker in the world without any hesitation. P.S. Sorry later i saw you are speaking of Opticon 2.
@@nickolaymiltenov hi and thank for good advice,i am so happy with the sound from opticon 2 mk 2,also i eant to try few different amps with them to hear the different, sound stage, dynamics, mids and highs are so clear
@@Adrianek81 Very interesting, so for a long time i wanted to ask somebody who had the possibility to test them with different amps, so did you find difference and if yes with which amplifier they matched best. Mine are driven by a French brand Advance Paris (which is Chinese actually 😂) but nevertheless i think they liked each other. There are some videos here on RU-vid. Before that i listened them for a while with a very old DENON PMA 560 and though i think that highes were slightly better and clearer it was a bit weak for them. They definitely need more watts. 300 against 110....size matters.
How do you differentiate between the sound of an amp and the sound of a speaker when evaluating a system in one sitting? I mean I have some ideas, but would appreciate your honest feedback. Or even a source? How can you tell what is contributing what? Might be worth a video… I often wonder this when people are at shows and walk blind into a room and listen to the whole system.
You can not tell that…. Many audio people dont understand that…. They never worked in studio, they dont know things about acoustics, they dont develope electronics or speakers, they are just consumers…
You can not tell in one sitting with the same setup. You must have tools (amps and speakers) that you know well to introduce the new items into in order to properly assess. This is what makes me valuable. I do the work for my clients.
I like that these acoustic panels change the look the look of your wall. Most panels look like somethings that you put on your wall and it sticks out visually if that makes sense.
A HiFi guy takes his wife shopping for a new washing machine. She says to the sales lady: Hey, I want one of those wasing machines that does this, and washes like this, and makes your clothes come out yellow. Sales lady says: What a strange request, this isn't a freakin' HiFi store you know.
Sounds etched through you tube, but that means nothing. Hey Mikey did you ever think about aquiring some high quality mics, some good ones ate really compact, Mikey don't take this as a dig as I consider myself a tribe member! Thanka for the coverage!
The reason there's lack of bass is because RU-vid will compress it out. I have very expensive Earthworks and Neumann mics but don't need to do all the work to make my point. Just imagine traveling with all that equipment. It's a no go..
i think it's not better than Japanese stuff but different... Try a Yamaha R-N2000A... because i tried it and in comparison with TDAI 3400, yamaha was much more engaging with silkier treble... Lyngdorf was more dynamic and controlled at low frequencies but somewhat sterile...
@@OCDHIFiGuy i actually have the old dali system here af home that they used in there demo room back in the days. It's a custom build 230v Japanese denon sa1 system. Kinda cool to have in my whisky room. :)
Not knowing DALI! ?! And you claim to be audiophile and hifi guy! This ignorance is at least inadmissible and insulting. This is Dannish brand which means that it is much better than 90% of the american overpriced sh*ts. Danmark is home of the best loudspeaker brands in the world and if you pretend to have knowledge in sound and acoustic you should learn all them, one by one, by heart.
Lol. Then, be insulted. Guess who does not give a shit ? I don't typically care about popular corporate brands, I like small production numbers and exlusive handmade brands. I've known about Dali for 25 years and never cared about them. So I met Marcus and because I liked him I made a trip to learn about this brand. OK. Guess what ? If you keep watching my channel, I'll offend you again.. lol.
@@OCDHIFiGuy Yes, i watch you channel because sometimes you say and show interesting things. Not every time, of course. 😁 Anyway the golden rule says - not every big, mass manufacturer is bad and low quality and not every handmade, boutique and ultra expensive brand is good and high end by all means.
It’s very simple, the small brands just want to move boxes and don’t care if he sells online over the phone etc. If Dali approached him and say “you want our speakers at cost and you can sell them direct?” he’d suddenly be freaking out about how good Dali is.
@OCDHIFiGuy "and never cared about them" - well here we have a draw, nor me never cared for you either, cause i never heard of you. Saying that you don't know about Dali shows how limited your knowledge is, as long as they are in top speakers producers. And please don't take it as an insult, it's just a finding of a reality that you demonstrate. But if with all of these, you still feel offended,, guess who don't give a shit? 😁
Good job Mikey! Hope you had a guten tag! Did you hook up with Big Jay's Audio Journey for some würst and glühwein or nope? Shame those speakers have gaudy gold feet and trim. They do match nicely with zee Dartzeeeel tho
