The Fnatic (a Titan of a gaming brand, their esports teams use these keyboards) Ministreak keyboard - silent red MX keys. I think it is top tier and build for use my gamers, which I think they understand the most about keyboards and mice.
All I want is a TKL with either a knob or roller wheel, metal top plate if not both top plate and bottom plate, true RGB that I can control every key individually if desired, PBT shine through key caps, WITH DEL, PG UP AND PGDOWN KEYS ALONG THE SIDE LIKE SOME 75% BOARDS HAVE oh and for under $60
All work wired. However - I’d check out things like the Q1 and Q2 from Keychron - great entry level wired keyboard that punches way above its price point. :)
I love your videos! I have the Lofree Maus in white and I think it’s fantastic. I bought it to go with my Qwerkywriter mechanical keyboard because I couldn’t find anything else that matched it as well. I also have a Epomaker Ajazz K620T Keyboard which I love. I’m limiting myself to three and I had had my eye on a Penna Keyboard but now I’ve seen your Lofree I’m very tempted!
Nice - thanks for watching - I'd personally err towards the metal casing options - whilst the Lofree is cool - It's not my fav - their other offerings are exciting thou
That was a nicely put together overview. You gave enough of a sense of the choices people have when shoping for a mechanical keyboard to start people thinking about it. The Nuphy Air75 is my personal favourite keyboard. The keycaps feel great. Being blind, I was happy to discover that the keyboard reports its battery charge to my iPhone so I can check it using the battery widget. Sadly, the Keychron K3 doesn't do this so I have no way to tell how much power it has. The weight of the Air75 makes it a better choice for use on the lap. One slight down side involves the keycaps being shaped in a way that makes it hard to tell by feel how they should be oriented. I removed the keycaps and replaced the brown switches with red linear ones for non-character keys like arrows and function keys. Call it tactile artistry. A time consuming but easy procedure. All of the keycaps are in the right places, but some are oriented the wrong way. It feels splendid, but sighted people have occasionally remarked that things don't look quite right. One of these days, I'll have my keycap puller handy and get someone to reorient the keycaps. This board will last years. I expect to be using it long after the battery fails. I pretty much always have a powerbank with me. The folio case is well worth getting. It can add to comfort on the lap, act as a stand for a tablet or smartphone, or simply protect the already quite durable keyboard from impacts on the top or bottom.
I just got my first mechanical keyboard (Keychron K2V2, blue switches) and I LOVE it! I’m looking for things to type now, lol. Have also bought a NuPhy Air60 in the Black Friday sales as a ‘portable’ with red switches so I don’t annoy the crap out of people when I motivate myself to get admin done by heading to a cafe 😊
Great stuff - it’s a lovely board! Haha. I really like the Nuphy - found it surprisingly louder than the Keychron K3 - but think you’ll enjoy it! Thanks for watching :)
Love this video, I've been getting into mechanical keyboards last year and the Nuphy Air75 is my favourite. I've tried Keychron K2 and Q2 pro, Logitech MX Keys and a bunch of others. Nuphy Air75 is the winner by far IMO.
Spent months looking into keyboards for my home pc , settled on a k3 pro from keychron. Reviews from gamers and office use just seemed to put this at the top of the pile. Good vid you gained a sub
I have a logitech pop keys and pop mice in yellow/black. I just ordered keychron aluminium k6 with a set of keychron cherry keycaps in navy/black/yellow combo.
Thank you, an "Englishman in Toronto"!! Your videos are like Shakespeare's plays. The theme, intro, the development... And, of course, an excellent English language! A balm for the tormented soul.
