This is important stuff they don’t teach you in school. Bought a property outright 3 years ago and I’m renting it out as a side hustle. I had no idea that putting it into a trust will protect my assets, if something goes wrong with a future spouse.
@@derekporter66That's dumb logic. Mathematics is incredibly important for modern infrastructure and technology. People go on to become engineers or other stem related professionals because of it. Also, if you want to learn about finance, there's an endless amount of material online or in libraries for you to learn about. It's all on you. You can't be spoon fed your whole life.
@@AJ-nd4nk and how many people go on to do that as a job? have you ever used angles in a triangle? or would you rather of been taught about finance. loans. mortgages. basic DIY at school?

unless it's a irrevocable trust. but you have to do it before you married and at least have another person as trustee as it can still be seen you are both the trustee and the settlor with courts consider the assets effectively under your control. meaning it's not protected.
